Last year, in November 2024, I rented a container from the company. I scheduled a pick-up date because I was done utilizing the container. They picked it up late and overcharged my account. I did not want to deal with this company anymore, so I left it at that. Today, on 06/02/2025, my account got charged for $188.03. I called them and they told me I was still receiving their services, and I had one of their containers. I haven't had a container since last year. They have not called me back in regard to getting my money back. They took money from my account that was supposed to be for my mortgage payment. Now I am short. I made arrangements with my mortgage company due to my being wrongfully terminated. I am behind, and I promised I was going to make a payment today. Now I am unable to pay due to Southwest charging my account for services I never received.Business Response

Southwest disposal charges for services even if they are not providing pickup for a couple of weeks. They charge for services they are not providing. I would like to only be charged for pickups they actually do and complete.Initial Complaint

I have a complaint about the company Trust waist that I recently found out was bought Southwest disposal.
Two weeks ago I was contacted by Phone by **** ( it was his phone number) the owner of trust waste. He asked me if I wanted to pay for another year of trash pick up. I agreed and paid over the phone. He never sent me a receipt or any documentation of the transaction. Then I found out yesterday from a neighbor that he sold the business to Southwest disposal. She got a form email saying that as of November 1 the business was sold to Southwest disposal after sending multiple emails to him about service. However, no one has notified me or anyone else either by email mail, or phone that the service has been transferred to a different company. There’s been no communication from Southwest disposal about this transfer whatsoever.Business Response

Because of confidentiality agreements related to the sale of Trust Waste we were not allowed to disclose any of that information. Also, as much as I would love for the data transfer to be instantaneous, it does take a few weeks to transfer and convert the information from the Trust Waste billing system to our billing system.Initial Complaint

On May 21, 2024 the pick up for my trash was not completely emptied from the container. This has happened several times in the past and my husband has to babysit the driver to make sure the two forks that grab the container and then flips the container up. The driver is not allowing enough time for the trash to be emptied fully. He is doing it too quickly and therefore, not all of the trash is being emptied. Unfortunately, he came at 12:15 pm and my husband was not there to babysit the driver to make sure the ALL the trash was emptied. Usually they come around 9-9:30 am.
We called and spoke to customer service and she was not helpful at all. She was blaming us and said she was hanging up. I called the ** ************ and a manager by the name of *** was suppose to call us, which he did not. We have trash still in the container and have no place to put the additional trash. Due to their incompetence, I would like them to contact me and to come back out this week and empty ALL the trash in the container. I would also like to have free pick up service for the year, since we have brought the incompetence of the driver to customer service several time and nothing seems to work. Also, their customer service is horrible. My husband has to babysit the driver in order for them to complete the job correctly. He should not have to babysit the driver to make sure the trash is emptied completely.Customer Answer

We have been using this companies location in Willcox Arizona for several months now. They are supposed to pick up our trash every Monday but that is very few and far between. It has been 3 weeks now since they have last been here to pick it up. When you call they are rude and do not care and they will not prorate your bill when they don't come pick it up. Everyone in Willcox complains to them and they do nothing to change.Business Response

Contacted customer service at southwest disposal regarding bill. Employee spoke for 10 or more minutes straight without allowing me to explain my reason for calling which upset me. I finally cut her off to give my side and I was upset at this point and she began to keep putting me on hold because she claimed I needed to calm down. I asked to speak to her manager and she transferred me elsewhere but told me it was being transferred to her manager. I have called back several times and they refuse to answer. I cannot resolve my bill issue and don’t know who else to speak to about my bill!! I need assistance and the staff who are there to assist won’t answer my calls! Who can help me!!Business Response

After a string of service issues, we canceled service at the end of March this year and they haven’t picked up the trash bin and they continue to bill us. I have been trying since April to cancel services when I receive the southwest disposal calls, unfortunately, they have not to cancel the services when I ask them to, the services stopped on May 1, 2023, because of non-payment, well I had to stop paying so they can listen to what I have been asking now they are demanding for me to pay for the month of May, I have been trying to make payment on their website online, there is a pop-up window that tells me that the payment cannot go thru. Southwest Disposal has failed to provide the service that I have paid for. They have continuously charged me full price while failing to pick up my trash. I do not feel I should be charged full price when they have failed to provide the service that I have paid for. I have attempted to contact them directly, multiple times, and they have either not answered the phone, or in the case of emails, failed to respond in a timely manner. Based on conversation with others in my neighborhood, they seem to do this often, to multiple people. So much so, that I believe it is most likely criminal.Business Response
