    First of all, the emergency doctor and the nurse working the overnight shift did an excellent job of stabilizing my mom, running tests, monitoring her condition when she was admitted in January. The overnight nurse in *** was especially professional.However, that's when the professionalism among the *** staff ended. On my way to visit my mother the next morning I received a call from the *** nurse who was attending to her. She bluntly announced that she and the staff decided to take my mom off life support. My initial response was one of shock as she had been stabilized when I left her *** room at 2 AM. When I asked what had changed, the nurse attending to her announced abrubtly, "She is 94, you know!"Her comments caught me off guard, as I was completely shocked at her ill manners and insolence. Age should have no relation to the type of health care one receives. On the contrary, my mother was an active swimmer until age 90 and had been in better condition mentally and physically than many who were decades younger than she was.When I arrived at her *** room both her nurse and the head male nurse were just as unprofessional and acted as though they were in a hurry to end her life.I understand they deal with death on a daily basis, but I was jolted with the callousness of the female *** nurse and head nurse that fateful day in January, 2024.

    Since being there for 5 weeks in ICU and coming out with bedsores all the way to my tailbone and still not completely healed the 16 th of August, got out of hospital o the 8th of Feb. Have not heard from them except to tell me they were going to investigate my problem that was 2 months ago. I caution anyone having to be thee to have someone check that they are really taking care of you.
