Maybe I was treated unfairly and the quality of work was not what I expected because I am a woman, or maybe this is not a company anyone should choose. Either way, this is my story.I expected the landscaping business to show me choices of colors, textures and designs. Rather, I was given a website. When I asked where I could go to see the actual colors, I was directed to a business on 4th street. The daughter of the owner and Project Manager told me she was too slammed to meet me. After doing research, I had to make 3 trips so I could make decisions. In the end, I was very clear what I wanted, including the need for textured pavers as we live in the mountains. As my story unfolds, they left the site for a few weeks waiting for materials. The daughter knew my family was coming and yet, they left the area with broken tile, cement spilled on the grass in several places, worksite debris and worst of all, they dumped diesel fuel in my yard, by an old ponderosa pine tree. I had to clean my yard and dig up the contaminated soil. In the end, the pavers are not textured. Big mistake! Their defense is that the picture of the tile I sent them showing the color was not textured. Why would I change my mind? They obviously forgot. The design is beautiful, but not what I asked for, and there are areas that are poorly constructed, like the brick they had to replace. I asked that ****, the owner come out and meet with me. I began to explain my concerns, when **** interrupted me saying his daughter told him about me. I was complaining before they laid the first paver. I felt bullied and belittled, as he went on, as if I didn't know what I was talking about. My husband and I built our large adobe home. I know quality. In the end, the meeting was mostly unproductive. I have only written good reviews, so this is my first negative. I feel men should be aware of the sub-par work, and women should also know that they likely will not be respected.

*****,I am truly sorry that you are unhappy with your experience with our company. You and I discussed your project at length for several months, and I can truly say that I did my very best to go above and beyond to answer any and all of your questions and address any concerns that came up along the way. We had many conversations regarding your paver selection, and although I was unable to meet you at Buildology the day you were there, I have the utmost confidence in the knowledge and help that they provide our customers about their products. After your meeting(s) at Buildology, you told me exactly what products and colors you wanted, so that is what I ordered for you. We exchanged countless emails, text messages, and phone calls, all in an attempt to ensure your satisfaction. In the end, I truly felt defeated and confused, especially after you told us how much you loved your patio. As you pointed out, my father is the owner of our company, and it is because of his support, mentorship, and confidence in me that I am able to be a successful woman in construction. We also have a woman that manages our maintenance department and a woman who runs our office. I can assure you that we would never, ever disrespect a woman, and I am sorry you see it that way.Respectfully,*************************
