1 starI too fell victim to this scam in ********, ** at the mall..and paid $400 for the eye cream . I was then whisked away to another room and put in a chair and before I knew it, I was being slathered in cream and red light and shown how great the results were and then was told I could have the whole set For $7500 and when I tried to leave, they marked it down quite quickly to 2500 if I bought it today and I took the opened box and agreed to share my pictures for their results website. Of course, I did not and I got out of there as quickly as possible, but this is the hugest scam and I hate that I was suckered into the $400 eye cream. I tried to take it back the next day once I read the Reviews and lo and behold the pop up store was closed, and when I call the number, it's been disconnected. I would love two join a lawsuit against these people, who apparently are going all over the u.S now and scamming women out of a lot of money. Their aggressive tactics are very hard to escape from once they lure you in. And reading these reviews and the other women's experiences, they definitely go by a script. That's the same everywhere. Run ladies. Do not fall for this scam! I wish law enforcement could do something about them.Review fromJuanita V

1 starTourist to Santa Fe. Was asked to share where I bought my sunglasses and the next thing I knew I was sitting in a chair with goop on my eyes. Walked out with $400 eye cream and then started reading reviews. Omg. My receipt says I bought alpha crme but I actually have a beta cream. The phone number on the receipt is disconnected. The receipt says no returns but there was no mention of that during the sale. I locked my cc and will get a new number.Review fromLisa R

1 starI had the same experience as the other reviewers in August 2022. After being lured into the spa, the eye serum was applied and it did have amazing results. My husband agreed. So I bought the $400 eye serum. Then, I stupidly agreed to let another person demonstrate an LED device and some different creams and again I saw amazing results. Then they then offered me a free facial and I accepted. Had the same handsome Italian man demonstrate another thermal cream with the LED device which visibly reduced and I was so amazed at the products that I agreed to pay several thousands of dollar. At first, I said no because of the price but then the Italian guy came back with an offer of 2 years of free products. I knew the high cost but signed the purchase contract anyway. I actually got additional products for a year, but can't get a response. And, after I left, I discovered the same bait and switch thing with the eye serum, which was different than what they first used on me. And, I did get the correct eye serum before I left town. But, they never sent that eye serum to me again saying they no longer carried it. I thought about reporting them but I was embarrassed by how I had been duped and pressured and didn't want the hassle. Just discovered this site while looking for a phone number to call them.Review fromMerry S

1 starThis business and its counterparts under the names Voupre and Lavelier which have independent locations, all of which are NOT BBB accredited, but each of which have numerous BBB unanswered complaints and lots of Buyer Beware reviews, are fraudulent scam artists. No one ever gets a refund and the numerous complaints are from older women, some of whom, amazingly, have lost over $10,000 each to these people!Review fromHilary A

I was sadly unprepared for the ultra hard-sell, fast-talking tactics used at this place. As others mentioned, a handsome, friendly man greets you on the street with a huge smile and asks you where you're from. Before I knew it, he had herded me into the shop, exclaimed that I had "great skin", dabbed a cream under my eyes and told me the product is normally listed for $1,000 on the internet (!), but on that day there was a "special deal" and there were only three (!!!) vials of the serum left - 15ml for $300(!!!). He never stopped talking as he ushered me to the counter - he told me exactly how to use the serum, told me he had helped to develop it, etc. It might be the greatest wrinkle cream in history - but a reputable business would give you a chance to think it over instead of ******* you to the counter to make a sale. (I don't blame the individual - he was obviously trained to do what he did.) As if in a trance, I paid a small fortune for a luxury product I can ill afford and will never use. Why? Because I didn't want to hurt the man's feelings? I really don't know. Sure, there's nothing illegal about aggressive sales tactics - but the salesman's patter was so smooth and choreographed that I felt powerless to extricate myself (he's a genius - he should apply his talents elsewhere). I was shaking after I left the shop and cried the rest of the day, feeling a mixture of shame and sadness. The most upsetting thing is that the salesman could surely deduce from my cheap clothes and bag that I wasn't wealthy. The experience was so traumatic that I will never visit Santa Fe again. After seeing the other reviews, I suppose I should feel "lucky" that I "only" lost $325 instead of thousands (all sales final, of course). I will be giving the serum and the "free gift" away because the mere sight of the product and the company name literally makes me feel ill. Come on, Voupre - you can do better. You don't need to do business this way.Santa Fe Spa Center

On October 19, 2022, a friend and I were visiting Santa Fe. We were walking towards the plaza, when a man at Santa Fe Spa approached us outside his store. He assured us that he had a serum that would smooth our wrinkles and bags under the eyes. Mistake one was when we entered the Spa. Our makeup around the eyes was removed and a cream was applied. There was immediate firming and smoothing of the wrinkles. I agreed to purchase the firming product for $900 after experiencing a younger look. Then we were escorted to another part of the room where another man demonstrated a red light device with more products. We were told that the device would diminish dark blemishes, smooth wrinkles, treat arthritis pain and promote hair growth. The cost was $9900. But we would only pay $9000 since we had just made a $900 purchase. The sale was made through pressured salesmanship. Both of us are very conservative spenders. We usually research before making a purchase. The original product that firmed our skin near the eyes was different than the product we took home. Neither one of us had the same result that we experienced in the store. Also the red light device , trimmed in 24k gold has not given the results that we were promised. This business has fraudulent tactics. They demonstrated a product and sold us a totally different item. They are high pressure salesmen. Law enforcement needs to be involved. This business gives Santa Fe a bad name.Santa Fe Spa Center
