Hello, Thank you for your feedback. The intent is not to confuse business owners. The advertisement clearly states in capitalized letters that it is a solicitation and not a bill. Domain Networks offers a listing in its online directory which features many businesses and their websites. Our records indicate that this business did not subscribe to our services and is not a verified customer and cannot speak knowledgeably about the service provided.Review fromAmy T

Last year they sent us a fake invoice with their scam. We asked them to take us off their mailing list, and they said that they would do it. This year, we got their fake invoice again. It's a horrible company.Domain Networks

I received a bill for $289 for my website. This is a s***** directory and a web search shows they do nothing other than list your website on theirs. Marketing is deceptive. I hope they choke on the money they get from the poor people they sucker into sending money.Frankly I am amazed this has a review higher than one.I don't normally write the BBB but this mailing is just shameful.Domain Networks

This is not a legitimate service, these are scammers! They dress up a bill to make it look like you owe them money for your website. But they also specifically say that it is a advertising for marketing services if you read the fine print. Because of this, many people would likely pay the bill without looking up what theyre paying for, and the scam would be complete. this is technically, barely legal because they are claiming that they are a marketing service. They are not. They are con artists. Dont fall for it!Domain Networks

You are lying. Your flyer has no phone number, or contact information, and no information regarding your "services". If you were trying to sell something, you would give information regarding the "service", as well as contact information so that the potential customer may learn more about you. I had to dig to find a phone number, and when I called, every day last week, nobody ever answered the phone. There are hundreds of one star reviews. are you suggesting that these people are simply "confused"? What is the nature of your service? What extatically do you do for the money? Why don't you answer the phone? Why won't you talk to your "customers"? You are NOT a legitimate business, and should be ashamed of yourselves. This is blatantly a scam.Review fromCarmen B

'Predatory' nearly says it all. 'Totally unethical' adds more detail. 'Criminally wasteful' more or less completes the picture. Do not be fooled by their misleading communications. This company sends letters which look like a bill from a domain registration company, asking for payment of $289 for "ANNUAL WEBSITE DOMAIN LISTING" in large, bold typeface. Farther down in much smaller typeface, not bold: This is not a bill. This is a solicitation. You are under no obligation to pay the amount stated above unless you accept this offer." In other words, they have covered their backs, but overall the communication is misleading at best. And note their use of the word 'offer'. All they're offering is to add your website to a list (who knows where?) that no-one is ever going to look at. And they get paid $289 for every one that adds to that list.Furthermore, they are sending out these letters to organisations whose domain names are harvested in bulk, either from the Internet or more likely directly from companies such as Public Domain Registry - probably (although I have no evidence for this) many thousands, even millions of them. This is a shameful waste of resources. The vast majority of these letters end up either in recycling or in landfill. To my mind, such random scattershot amounts to criminal waste of resources.******, having requested some time ago that Domain Networks remove me from their mailing list, I have now received further communication from them, the same misleading diatribe as previously. They evidently do not even honour a request not to be SPAMMED by them. This is purely unethical.Domain Networks

"did not subscribe": correct, and I never shall."cannot speak knowledgeably": about the service offered - true; about the solicitation masquerading as a bill - false. I have received more than one of these and read each one very carefully."I do apologize": thank you. It's a shame that the email I received in response to my complaint did not include a personal apology, or even a salutation. Maybe apologies are reserved for public display?"please contact us": I have. We'll see if it has any more effect than the last time I did so. Only time will tell.Review fromPaul S

How can these people sleep at night fully knowing they're scamming people?By the way, why don't they show their physical address? Is it because they don't want people to know where they are? Are they operating our of their basement? I had to choose a one star rating only because you can't give them a zero.Domain Networks

Predatory and misleading. Attempting to get large sums of money posing as your domain provider. The letter appears to be a bill then in fine print on the back claims it is a solicitation. $289 for doing nothing? No thanks. This should be illegal. There is not an option for ZERO STARS.Domain Networks

I get their ******** regularly. I see their responses claim that the ******** are clearly for having a listing with them, but that is not at all clear. Granted, it's shown as ONE of the features, but is under the heading of "Website Domain Authority Includes" The FIRST feature shown is "12 Month Term on Domain Networks" - could that be any more vague? There's simply no way their ******** could be construed as anything other than an absolute mis-representation of their services, in spite of how slick they think they are in avoiding any description whatsoever of what services they offer.Domain Networks
