I was led to believe that Free Website Guys would either build me a website or help me build it myself. I got neither, I was highly encouraged to go to a hosting company where they got a commission. I ended up having to have my card charged twice and no help. The website is intended for a ministry that is dedicated to Veterans.

Hi ****, I think there is a misunderstanding here but we haven't been able to get ahold of you. We sent you various emails hoping to help you resolve this but you haven't ************ clarify, we don't charge for our work so there's no double charge from us (since we never asked you to pay us). You are 100% correct that you have to sign up for web hosting in order to have a website online, but it's not through us. We don't offer web hosting. Instead, we recommend a few of the most popular web hosting companies in the **. If you had a double charge from them of some kind, please reach out to them and see what might have happened. Their customer service should be able to assist. Thanks in advance.

Hi *****, this is ****, the co-founder of The Free Website Guys. I was just looking through our email chain with you and I'm a bit confused about your review but also really sorry you had this experience! Based on our email conversation, it looked like everything was going fine. I don't see any emails from you indicating that you felt like we had gotten off track. Based on what I can see, we were working on your website for a few weeks with you, and then turned the site over to you and offered you a handover call. I don't think we realized you were frustrated. If I had known, I would have personally jumped in as I hate to see anyone walk away unsatisfied.Would love to get this back on track for you here! Feel free to reach out to me directly at ********************************** and I'll jump in and see what I can do. Thanks, and my sincere apologies again about however we misfired here with you.
