    I went to the clinic November the 5 2023 for a cut on my index finger (right) looking for a tetanus shot and finger check / dressing I paid the copayment requested using my insurance card and they asked my full payment for the shot stating wasnt covered from my insurance Couple of weeks after ,checking on my insurance web I discovered they submitted a wrong code, the services rendered that day to me was tetanus shot and some local antiseptic and a basic (not even nn stick )gauze dressing On my explanation of benefits they mention debride genitalia and perineum ..Called my insurance we called the billing office to have them change it They confirmed I was treated for a finger cut..But they never did The was the only time we were able to talk to the billing department of this company Called my insurance again ,the representative was never able to talk to this office again and she called several times I already received 3 bills from them for a service it wasnt performed to me I called them many times and sent many emails to get this straighten up,no response nobody answered I called the clinic they said they were calling the billing department to have me call back ,but the office never contacted me I really dont know what to do at this point The bill is almost $ 500 for a service never performed I need them to fixed it because if I owe money I like to pay but I dont wish to pay for a service never rendered to me I have an excellent credit and I wish to keep it this way But I really cannot pay a bill ** not mine

    The code that was billed was the wrong code, and has been adjusted. The office and the billing department attempted to make contact with the patient last week, but we were unable to. We are currently waiting for the patient's insurance to respond with the approval. Regardless, the patient will not be sent to billing and no further attempts to collect payment from the claim will be allowed. Due to the error not being the fault of the patient, the account balance will be waived, regardless of what insurance approves or denies, as we will not collect on it.
