ON NOVEMBER 1, 2023, we RECEIVED A WORK ORDER FROM FIRST AMERICAN HOME WARRANTY TO SERVICE MR. ********************* PROPERTY. WE SCHEDULED A ************* AND SEND OUT **************. HE ASSESS THE SITUATION FOUND HIS FLAME SENSOR TO BE DIRTY CLEANED SENSOR AND UNIT WAS UP AND OPERATIONAL. ******************** CONTACTED US A DAY AGO STATING HIS UNIT HAD GONE OUT. WE ADVISED HIM TO CALL HIS HOME WARRANTY SO THEY CAN ISSUE A NEW WORK ORDER .It had been outside of his recall date Of 30 days homeowner then stated home warranty wanted to charge him another service fee. We then told the homeowner unfortunately, that has nothing to do with us as you contracted with your home warranty to get serviced. we then offered to go out there outside of his home warranty but it would be a service fee. Homeowner then refused to call home warranty to get a new work order and refused us to go back out there for a service fee. He stated we needed to go out there for free and fix the issue. We then told the homeowner unfortunately that's not how it works and and gave him the option to call his home warranty or pay us a service fee. He then refused service got belligerent over the phone and hung up.

I am rejecting this response because: When I talked to them, I asked what their warranty legrh on the repairs. They told me that it was ************************************************************* from them, they should honor their 60 day warranty..  Are they claiming that, if the order from the warranty company, they only do  a repair that would last 30 days, but if the repair order from them, they make sure their repair lasts 60 days? That's absurd. The person I was talking to told me that, this is how the game works. Thats why it wasn't worth arguing further with them.

    Sincerely,

60 days warranty are for customers that directly contact us with no affiliation with home warranties and that are a private consenting  party contracting directly with **. Homeowners that have home warranties have steps and policies that are governed by your home warranty not us, we are a third-party facilitating service paid by the home warranty not the homeowner. As ********** is a home warranty customer, all service request and warranties are to be requested through your home warranty due to the fact that you contracted and paid for a home warranty policy to obtain service. If your home warranty is charging you another service fee because the policy you purchased with them only covers 30 days warranty, that is an issue you will have to take up with your home warranty. It has nothing to do with us, you have paid us zero dollars for the services we have provided. We have no legal contract, invoice , or document binding our services or warranty to you. For a customer that has had a home warranty for 10 years you already know your policy only covers 30 days warranty. So instead of making false accusations and trying to get around from paying another service fee, you need to argue with your home warranty.
