I purchased a Lennox A/C from Alaskan Plumbing and Heating to replace my 14 years old A/C unit. To date I am very satisfied with the new unit. I have it tuned up every spring by their Technician named Lorenzo. Lorenzo is a great professional individual. He is extremely knowledgeable on A/C units and when he performs the yearly maintenance on the furnace/AC he is caring and maticulate about his work. Lorenzo Shows a great amount of patience to perform all the detailed requirements, and answers any questions with a great clarity. Maybe that's the reason I don't have any issues with our A/C unit.
It was because of Lorenzo that About 4 years ago, I went ahead and purchased a Daikin Split A/C unit for our Garage. To date I have been quite satisfied with the unit.
Thank you Lorenzo for good job and good follow up. I think Lorenzo is an asset to Alaskan Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning company.

Purchased 2 brand new Daikin units in June of 2020. Immediately began having issues with one of the units. Had multiple visits from Alaskan during our 2-year service agreement period (though they claim there are only 2 documented visits when I have phone records that show we've called them or more than that). Finally, in the 3rd year the problem unit completely gave out. Alaskan has filed paperwork for a warranty replacement from Daikin but still wants $1,500 to install the replacement unit. After complaining we were offered a paltry $300 discount on installation costs. We should not have to pay installation costs twice for a unit that is only 3 years old and that has a documented history of being faulty from the beginning. Then there is the customer service side. We had to call multiple times a day for 5 days just to get the estimated cost for the replacement installation. No one ever called us back, each time it was us reaching out to Alaskan. We also requested to speak to Chad, the owner, and have never received a call back despite the front office allegedly leaving messages for us. It seems Alaskan's policy is to patch up problems and hope the unit lasts longer than the labor warranty and that calling customers back is a low priority. They make a good sales pitch, but they do not stand by the products they sell, their service, or their customers. Our entire family is sleeping in our living room right now because they sold us a faulty unit and couldn't or wouldn't recognize that it was failing slowly. I will not trust them with my friends or family's A/C needs again.

      Scammer !!!

Alaskan Plumbing and Air is a questionable service Provider

Called for toilet flushing sluggish. Asked if the issue was a simple "flopper" part, would the technician have it on the truck. I was assured that it would. “Plumber” who showed up didn’t know squat but did know how to recommend a big job for a small issue. Wanted to replace whole house pressure valve and/ or replace all toilet internal works on 2 toilets. When I asked if he had a "flopper" valve on the truck, he said--no. I believe he wasn’t really a licensed plumber because the problem was very common but he had to call someone else at his company to get advice on how to proceed. I told him to leave my house. I’d call this elder abuse-trying to take advantage of an old person by recommending a big job when the solution was probably a smaller fix.
