      On Sunday, April 13th, my husband and I went to Camp Out to purchase a 30A surge protector and a 30A pigtail. We spent a total of $141.99. On Saturday, April 19th, I went back to Camp Out to return the surge protector. The surge protector did not fit our requirements and we determined that it would be best to return the surge protector and look into another brand. The manager informed me that they do not take electrical returns and even cited that other places, like *********** don't either (after researching, I found out this is untrue). I asked the manager to cite where it says they don't accept electrical returns in their returns policy and his answer was "I don't have to." He then walked away from me. There also was no returns policy, or no refunds/returns sign visible anywhere in the business.

      Mrs ******** did come in with the surge protector stating there was a problem with the lid not correctly fitting on it. She wanted to return it. I explained that electrical is not returnable, as our store policy is "All sales final, No returns". I showed her that the lid fit properly, and I stated that if there was a defect, the manufacurer will  make the determination if I can replace it at no charge. That was not the case with this and in fact, she said she had already used the part. Our policy is clear and is posted on the wall. There wll no refund available.

      I am rejecting this response because: The statement from the manager regarding the return policy is untrue. There is no "all sales final, no returns" sign clear and posted on the wall. If there was, he simply would've pointed to it instead of saying "I don't have to" when I asked for the returns policy. It seems that the manager is not going to take responsibility, but maybe now because of this complaint he will actually put up a sign.
