******* brought my car to LV protist on ***********. I was unhappy with the color of the graphic being installed. The manager became angry when I asked to remove it.he said I would pay for the time and material and I agreed to. I began recording with my iPad at which time he forcefully grabbed it from me and thru it approximately forty feet breaking it. Then showed signs of aggression toward me at which point I backed out of the garage bay and phoned police. He and all the other employees immediately left the business knowing the police were coming. He was charged with assault I dropped the case after he payed for the repair on my iPad.then his boss began being uncooperative in finishing my car.I gave him one month then disputed charges on my card. Also I had paid some of it in cash unfortunately. Needless to say he has not finished this work the tint was substandard and I will have to take the car elsewhere to fix the *********** considering legal action if I do not receive my money back,Business Response

This customer was scheduled on November 5th to have the work on his vehicle completed as his altercation at the ********* location did not allow for completion of the job.
While the customer was waiting for his appointment date, he filed a chargeback dispute with his credit card company. He was advised that since he filed a dispute while he had an appointment to complete the job, that we would have to wait for the dispute to either be approved or denied before proceeding. He cannot have the work completed and also have his refund. It would have to be one or the other, but not both.
I am attaching the text message conversation the General Manager had with Mr. ****** in which he tells him that we have to wait for the disputed charge to be settled before moving forward.
I am also attaching the text message where he was told that the dispute was rejected by his credit card company and that we could get him in next Tuesday. He then refused that appointment stating that we "scare him".
We have already tried to schedule him but he is fickle and changes his mind on whether he is coming in or not. When we schedule him, we block off a block for his project which no one else can come in on to have work done. Him changing his mind as often as he has is costing us more money than his project is worth.
He was originally trespassed by ********* ** but I lifted that trespass so that he could come back and have his job completed. Now he is refusing to allow us to complete his job.
We owe him the work. He just has to commit to an appointment and actually come in.Customer Answer

Just like to add I am afraid to go back to this business they are insane. The customer is dealing with a different manager who the text message pictures show to be more than accommodating and willing to work with him. The messages show this.
This customer was originally trespassed by ********* ** because they found it necessary to do so given the altercation. However, this trespass was lifted so that business with him could continue. And to say that he was trespassed because of the way he looks is laughable. Absolutely absurd.
It appears that there is nothing more that this business can do for him if he is refusing to allow the business to complete the project that they are accommodating his schedule to complete. If he simply refuses to have the work completed, he should understand that he signed a NO REFUNDS POLICY. It is in his best interest to allow the other manager who has been trying to work with him to coordinate completion of his project.

I made an appointment with pro tint ** ********* location with ******* 11-1-2024 (the general manager) for window tint on my ****** Camry upon the inspection for window tint he said your car needs to be buffed .i asked if he offered that service he said no i signed the paper work for authorization of my window tint I left for a few upon returning ******* says come out to the shop and see what we did for you.we wet sanded/buffed a section of your hood (without my authorization) he proceeds to tell me to make the whole car look like that that itll be $1800. I said I dont wanna do that. I dont have the money. What about fixing the hood where you messed up and did it without my authorization, he proceeded to tell me itd be $500 to fix my hood then back in the office when I address this situation again he agrees that he shouldve not done that with that my authorization and he sees where Im coming from and that he will only fix my hood, not match the rest of the car so the rest of my car looks horrible other than the hood:.. upon calling the other manager at ********* he does not want to do anything about it and ******* proceeds to lie to him on the phone as well as me saying that I gave him authorization outside to do that which I did not give him they do not want to make this right and they do not wanna fix my carBusiness Response

There are conflicting statements from the customer and from the sales manager regarding the events that took place during this appointment.
My internal investigation showed that the sales manager and customer agreed to apply a paint correction to a small corner of the hood to show how it would look if done on the entire vehicle. The customer did not like the turn out and became upset that a small corner was done since it did not match the rest of the hood.
The manager agreed to apply the service of buffing on the entire hood at no cost. The customer appreciated the resolution and left happily. Days later, they called me at my location to express displeasure that the hood looked almost brand new but the rest of their car did not match. They asked for the rest of the vehicle to have the same service at no cost to them.
I concluded my investigation with the following: The customer received a service at no cost that they agreed to receive a small sample of. The manager, in an effort to keep the customer happy, extended the service to the entirety of the hood and the customer originally deemed the action as sufficient for a resolution. I closed this matter internally as resolved and took the loss for providing a costly service at no charge in the spirit of customer service. There is nothing more that can be offered to these customers and we are not willing to extend further services at no charge. They got a free service and were initially happy.

I had to go twice for all three vehicles. Even the 2nd time they didnt put the tint on correctly. They also loosen my girlfriends Acura rear view mirror the first time we brought it in. When we brought it up to them the second time, we took it on Thursday 9/7/23 they said, we will take a look at it. Then that same day when I picked it up after work it had a crack on the windshield. I contacted them about the problems and that I just want my money back since they cant put the tint flush on the window as it should be without gaps. And for them to fix the damage they did. They responded with they dont do refunds and theyre not paying for that. Asked to speak to the general manager, she just got our information, and we never received a call. I than wrote a review explaining everything on ************* and the owner respond with thank you for the review. This customer was made aware of the gaps and that this would be a possibility due to the fact that those windows could not be cut by computer. When the computer cannot cut a vehicle's windows due to the database not cutting certain vehicles due to how old they are, customers are to expect a gay since it is cut by hand.
As to the windshield that is broken, our managers record pre and post installation videos. There is no broken windshield at the time after it was installed.
Our video footage shows that they walked around their vehicle with a company representative, approved the tint, signed their invoice showing that they approved of the work, and then left the vehicle on the premises past the operational hours of the business.
These customers came back after hours to retrieve their vehicle. We are not responsible for what *** occur to a vehicle when it is signed out of our possession which is exactly what they did. They signed it back unto their custody but left it in the parking lot. At that time, any damages that *** occur are not the responsibility of the company.

I am rejecting this response because:Ive gone to two other tint shops and each one of them stated that, just cause its hand cut doesnt mean it should look like that. That they would have been able have gotten it flushed.
If the people at LV Pro Tint couldnt do it right or simply because its not a machine cut, they should have told me beforehand.
I understand that due to it being hand cut its not going to be perfect however, I have friends with the same truck and their tint is flush.
Not only on top of paying for the tint, but now I'm paying for a new windshield for damages I didnt cause. As well as getting that new windshield tinted and getting my trucks re tinted.

Again, as previously stated, our video surveillance shows that this customer came to inspect their vehicle, approved of what it looked like, saw no damages, and signed their approval on the work order.
The cameras show that these customers left their vehicle on property, no longer under the responsibility of LV Pro Tint, and came back for **************.
If there was damage on the vehicle, it occurred while no longer the responsibility of LV Pro Tint.
As for the claims that the tint should have been done "better", that is the biased opinion of a company in competition with our company.
There is no other position that this company can take in regards to this claim.

We bought a brand new 2023 Tesla on June 19, 2023 and took it to LV Pro Tint on ********* on June 20, 2023. We have all windows tinted, windshield, moonroof and had full hood and mirrors cap *** placed. Initially, the *** or (Protective Paint Film) was done poorly and also the windshield and moonroof tint. I went back the next day to show LV Pro Tint the issues which is the *** lifting and collecting dirt already and the tint has dirt bubbles and scratches. I also pointed out that there was paint damage on the hood. The establishment agreed to redo the *** and also the tint on the windshield and moonroof and do the paint repair on the hood which was done on June 30th. After I picked up my car, the paint repair was kinda sloppy and I noticed that there were more dirt bubbles & large bubbles on the windshield that was obstructing my view while driving and large bubbles on the moonroof. I went back and showed the owner ****** and has agreed that it shouldnt look like that and scheduled me for another tint placement the 3rd time around. There were also more paint scratches on the passenger side inside the door panel which I showed to his employee *******. I went back on July 11th, at drop off, I spoke to the owner again to specifically made him aware that I am not comfortable that I keep coming back to get this redone and every time I get my car back there is a damage done to it. This would be my last time giving them a chance and that we need to come up with a resolution if this happens again. He assured me that it wont happen again and he will make sure of it and that is why he scheduled me when he is at the shop and told me someone is getting away with this kind of work and this is not what we do. I came to pick up my car at the end of the day and ****** has left for the day and I noticed that more scratches and big bubbles are on the moonroof again, there were less dirt bubbles on the windshield but I have spoken to his employee ******* that I am not happy about it. I sent them an email the next day (July 12th) to express my frustration and disappointment. I also attached pictures of their work from the first time they did the work, the second and the third time for references. And, have asked to compensate for the paint damage left on the passenger side door panel and also the tint job on the windshield and moonroof. They were unwilling to do or give anything and gave me an excuse of waiting 90 days for full cure. It is known that it only takes 3-5 days the most for full curing of the tint and even faster in a hot climate. They did not address about the paint damage done either. And, why would the owner even suggested to have it redone when he saw the state they were in if it simply was the case. I had told them that ** reaching out to them to give them a chance to do the right thing before I contact my credit card. Hence, why I am contacting BBB to help me deal with a company who does this to their customers. They were disrespectful toward someones property and definitely give subpar workmanship.Business Response

Furthermore, she waived the company of any costs that *** arise from the work described in the work order.
The scratches on her Tesla cannot be proven to have occurred while being worked on and rather are disproved by our surveillance footage. Most recently, this customer attempted to blame the company for scratches on her rim until it was disclosed to her that we have video footage disproving her claims.
As for what she feels are discrepancies in her tint, her tint is days old. The full cure period before anything can be determined to be a discrepancy is 90 days. You must give the tint the ample time to cure as described and recommended by the manufacturer's of all window tint.
In addition, there are guidelines for what is deemed to be acceptable when it comes to window tinting as defined by the ****. The customer agreed in her disclaimer to abide by the guideline and expectations, however, her entire campaign against our company contradicts what she agreed to abide by.
There is nothing that this company can or will do for this customers. As it stands, it appears that she is looking for someone to pay for certain damages that were not caused by this company.

I am rejecting this response because:I called the company in regards to the damage on the rim the next day and spoke to their employee ******* which we both agree to investigate by looking at their surveillance camera. Since they have a history of damaging the paint when my car is in their possession. It's natural to ask and provide me with pictures or their video surveillance since their employee has handled my car with a lack of care in the last couple of times they've worked on it. When I asked them to email me the video they have, they say they couldn't. But, I have believed them and I did not require any compensation in regards to the rim damages. I have not included that claim here either. The 2 damages on the paint have been proven by them taking pictures prior to working on my car and the damages appeared after they worked on my car.
The argument given by this company for waiting 90 days is simply so that I cant any longer report it to my credit card since credit card companies are known to have rules reporting bad services within 90 days of service.
They failed to acknowledge the series of events and how they responded in the last three times and the reasons why the tint was getting redone. Also, the promise ****** had made that what appears on the tint of bubbles and scratches should not and will not be there after the 3rd try.
The waiver my had signed says ALL SALES ARE FINAL. REFUNDS ARE NOT AUTHORIZED BY SIGNING BELOW, CUSTOMERS AGREE THAT ALL WORK COMPLETED MEETS THE SPECIFICATIONS IN THIS INVOICE AND THE WORK IS COMPLETED TO THEIR SATISFACTION. It also says in their contract form any other service provided by this establishment with the
exception of damages resulting from negligence.
It didnt meet to the customers satisfaction and it was negligence in their part that my car has also damages done on the paint. I have paid nearly $6000 for the services I had done with them. If I am trying to scam or the claim they have of me trying to have someone pay for the things I had done. I would not just asked for the 2 tint that was done poorly and the damages made on the paint and stains from their work. I am simply seeking a refund for only on the services that was done poorly so that I can look for a professional that will get it done the right way. This business has had a history of not taking care of responsibility for their bad work with their customers from their reviews on their Yelp page. *********************************Since opening the complaint. I have provided pictures to support claims I have against this business. This business have tried to make excuses after excuses even stating my allegations are incorrect without proof of pictures with time stamp they have taken when my car was dropped off at their shop. Adding to that, given excuses of it takes 90 days to have full cure on the film. I have contacted **** since they started this in their response to my complaint and also the manufacturer of their tint films (***** window film) in regards to the thickness of the film and what is normal to see after application. I have attached here pictures from **** stating The installation shall be deemed acceptable if all of the following are unobtrusive (effects during cure should be disregarded): Dirt Particles, Hair and Fibers, Adhesive Gels, Fingerprints, Air Bubbles, Water Haze, Scores and Scratches, Film Distortion, Creases, Edge Lift, Nicks and Tears. Inspection may be made within 1 day of
installation. Obtrusiveness of blemishes shall be judged by looking through the film installation in natural daylight. I have provided pictures about the scratches, creases and dirt particles on the windshield and moonroof besides the paint damages done on our car. ***** tint film manufacturer also states that the quality of film installed in our car is 1.9 mil which does not take 90 full cure. Full cure depends on the climate also, we have been between ******* degrees here in Las Vegas which makes it cure faster. We are not in ******* or ****** to even think 90 days for this thin of a film to cure. As also stated by **** that thickness of the film we have will only take up to ******************************************************** hotter climates. I had to report it through my credit card company after LV Pro Tint was not able to reach a resolution after contacting BBB. He recently submitted to my credit card company that BBB has agreed to him and in his opinion he won the case.
He even stated that my car had been in the garage which he has no proof of. The time on the service was back in July of 2023. This was in the heat of summer here in Las Vegas. I attached the recorded temperature we had here in Las Vegas this year. So, even if my car was parked in the garage, the temperature would not slow the curing time. The manufacturer even states that the curing takes fewer days during summer. One website also stated it takes only 30 days for a full cure for cars and 90 days for residential depending on the climate.
Please review the other documents I provided when I submitted this complaint so that you can see the history of how much LV Pro Tint lies its way to dealing with its customers.
I do not feel comfortable even having them work on my car again and the only resolution I will accept is for them to refund me since they are not able to provide quality work.

** Pro Tint does not lie to its customers. We are completely transparent in what the expectations of window tint should be and the recommended cure process.
This customer has unrealistic expectations of ******************** tint which at first we catered to, however, unrealistic expectations can never be satisfied.

I acknowledge the necessity of substantiating claims with concrete evidence rather than relying solely on personal accounts. It's clear that the ****************************** is determined to stand by his services, regardless of the facts.
To back up my complaints and show that they don't match his excuses, I've provided evidence from the tint manufacturer (***** Window Film) and other sources (****). These materials highlight discrepancies between his explanations and the facts. Oddly enough, ****** has not given any proof to support his side. Instead, he seems to shift responsibility onto the customer and devises ways to discourage refunds.
LV Pro Tint has not honored of having a lifetime warranty on these tint films per advertised where I can have someone else fix the film lifting/peeling. No emails or whatsoever to provide me the warranty.

LV Pro Tint claims they had fulfilled the service and had given me a discounted rate for applying paint protection or ceramic coating. After a month of not washing our car per their instructions, I finally had a professional car detailer came to wash my car. It turns out, another reason why this business cannot be trusted. My car does not show any ceramic coating or paint protection has been applied. Another professional have educated me and showed me that our car does not have ceramic coating. No water beading and why I was wondering dirt just sticks to it. I have attached informations on what to look for in your car to check if you have paint protection or ceramic coating and also I attached pictures of my car showing no water beading which mean no ceramic coating. Since then I have paid another business to apply ceramic coating in our car. I would like to provide video of our car showing no water beading after ****** claiming they did apply it but I wasnt able to as the video is too large to attach here.
This is why I said this business isnt honest and actually its them stealing money from their customers. Therefore, why I requested a refund for this particular service as well. They didnt even do the job and pretended acting generous for giving a discounted rate.

The attached document shows that ****** not only already received a refund for her Window Tint due to her dispute to her credit card company ******************* but she also requested and received a refund for her Paint Protection Film application which had no issues. She essentially stole from our company, especially since the Paint Protection Film application was not part of her complaint nor mentioned to the Better Business Bureau.
This customer is committing fraud not only with the Better Business Bureau, but with her bank institution as well.

This business has been lying and providing you old documents and not the most current documents! He gave you a document dated 8/13/2023 showing when I reported it to my credit card. Since then, he have been credited back by my credit card company. I submitted the most current document dated 8/26/2023 showing LV Pro Tint got the money back. ****** knows how to get around and have dealt with many unhappy customers that have had reported him to their credit card company. I dont understand how he can claim Im the one who steals money where hes the one who lies and presents old documents and pretends he does not have the money I paid for. I wasnt bringing the other services he did not complete and I did not include it to the claims I have with BBB since my credit card company have already handled it for me. But, clearly he provides old and not current documents to make him look good. The integrity ****** has is questionable.
