This website is a scam! They say you can sign up for a one time use account for seven days for $1.99, then they charge you without notice a week later that you'll be charged $49.99 for a one year subscription a week later! I disputed the transaction with my payment **************** wouldn't give me a refund, claiming the company did nothing wrong! I emailed the company and they won't issue a refund either. I read reviews too late that they scam people this way all the time and that people who've used their credit cards with this company's website suddenly have unauthorized charges appear on their accounts! Hello This business offers a seven day trial service and they convert this to a monthly subscription instead of checking with customers if they wish to continue for a fee. The tactic and language used is very conveluted and suspicious. When I immediately requested a cancelation and refund upon a charge alert, the company offered me two years of service for free. On April 18, 2025 I searched ****** for a way to edit a PDF document for free and came across this company. Spent the time to fill out a very lengthy document and when I went to download it required a payment of 0.99 to download. Since it took me so long to fill it out, I went ahead and paid the 0.99. Today, 4/25/25 I get a charge on my ****** account for *****. Evidently, somewhere in their small print by PAYING 0.99 I was signing up for a "FREE" trial, and after this supposed FREE trial I was going to be charged ***** if I didn't cancel. Conveniently enough I did not know about this, so they took the money from my ****** account, which I didn't prevent since I DIDN"T KNOW IT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN. **** is a scam, and I want everyone to know not to use this company for anything. On 2/11/25 I authorized a one*time charge of 99 cents on my ******** credit card to obtain a gov ******** tax document. There was no notice of any subscription or ongoing commitment associated with this charge. On 2/18/25 there was a charge on my card of $*****. This was picked up by my card provider * Chase * as what they termed fraudulent activity on my account. To address this issue ***** required the issuing of a new card which was done. I paid the initial ***** charge on the old card and was told by ***** that I would have a credit on the new card and would receive no additional charges from pdfGuru.. Instead of this, there was another $***** charge dated 3/20/25 on the new card. I disputed both the 2/18 and the 3/20 charge with ***** on 4/15/25 along with a stop payment order. I have no issue with the 2/11/25 charge which I did authorize. In addition to a refund of both of the $***** charges back through my Chase ***** I would request that no additional charges be made to my ******** credit card moving forward.Business Response

I was charged $49.99 on March 13, 2025 for a subscription I didn't sign up for. On January 25th I signed up for a 7 day subscription for $1.99 which afterwards would be $49.99. I emailed the company today to inform them that their service did not work and that I would like a refund. They are refusing a refund even though they did not fulfill a service they claimed to offer. The service was converting a bank statement pdf document into an excel spreadsheet for tax purposes. However, the converter only grabbed the first three lines of my statement and the rest of the excel document was blank.
