Purchased a Bluetti AC180 power bank from the Amazon site and had shipped to ******* to then have shipped to ****** due to the Lithium battery. Received the power bank on Friday April 26th, removed from the box (no damage to box or device) went to ********************** it on and it was dead. Plugged it in to charge, still would not turn on. Found forums that suggested using solar to charge. Still wouldnt charge or turn on. Sent email to Bluetti customer service and got response from Anson in the *********** who believes Alaska is an island in a foreign country asking us to ship back. No. It was $319 to ship from ******* to *********. Sent video of machine not working. Response was still the same. ****** is an island and must ship back. Economically that is prohibitive. Have offered to bring device to a battery recycling plant in town and provide proof in exchange for a refund of device. Have been told they need the device returned before refund will be issued. Also requiring device to be shipped with a more expensive carrier. Shipping of defunct device would be more than device is priced at and what we paid. Since this issue started we have found Bluetti has a reputation of shipping defective devices and lack of customer service. We want our money back in full (minus shipping).Business Response

I can only assume Bluetti has stolen my money. Facts: I sent my 4 month old PS72 unit for warranty repair over a month ago, as it just quit charging, period, and they said they will send a replacement. They sent a literal broken replacement unit, one with a serial number that was 21 units different from mine with the same exact non-charging issue. (I can only assume a "bad batch" was ,manufactured) So I had to RMA that unit as well (both RMA's units were signed for by FGeng in ********)Bluetti then told me a replacement was sent last week, yet tracking by ******* # ***********) is still showing as "label created" in *****, ***** a week ago. This morning I get an email stating that if my package is lost they will "help me file a claim" (which we all know cannot be done when an item was never shipped)Everything is documented on video, even the unpackaging of the defective "replacement PS72 unit", and in emails with *********************************** and through ******* messaging service relay system. So it appears if I do not receive a refund, I will have no choice but to file a Consumer Fraud case with the State Attorney General, and a lawsuit with my attorney as well. No one should trust this company, this is the second PS72 unit I purchased, as I had purchased 2 at the same time as they were on sale at *******.com, the first unit literally caught on fire while charging and I had to get it professionally recycled while Bluetti was trying to get me to mail the smoking leaking unit back to them illegally (have all email proof of this as well) So Bluetti, if you would like to resolve this issue and refund my money (as I no longer want a "replacement unit") as soon as possible without having to pay legal fees as well, my ******* order number is #***************, I want my refund of $273.44 to the original payment method, and I am 100% positive you know how to contact me via email.Business Response

2/22/2024 ORDER # ********* Purchased from Newegg.com requested return 31 days after purchase and was told to contact bluetti directly. No issues, just too heavy to lift with no wheels.Bluetti sent me an email offering me a rolling cart, I said no, they offered again, I said no, they offered a "discount" (that they didn't disclose the amount), I said no, and then told me I would be "borne" of the shipping charges. When I called for an agent I was told that I had to email for support, which is in ***** and only communicates by email. Emailed again to clarify - that they want me to pay the shipping charges and will issue a full refund in the amount of $1,873.15 Since I have heard a lot of troubling things from other reviewers I want to make sure my communication with them is clear and well documented.I want to make sure I am quickly issued a full refund once I package and ship the item at my expense, or file a dispute with my bank and paypal in case they don't issue rma, keep sending me emails, or delay in processing the return.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: The fact that the best example of where you can find this product is on **** should tell you everything about the scam that Bluetti is running. I could put a piece of paper on **** for a $1000. It doesn't mean its worth that or would sell for that. Also, how is this product chosen at random? If you ****** mystery box I can't find anyone that got anything other than an eb-120.

On 3/13/24 we purchased the Bluetti AC500 with B300S batteries as listed on their website and received the much cheaper B300 batteries with it. When I contacted them about this no one answers their phones they tell you to leave a message and then you get an email in the middle of the night (there are American flags all over the website but this is not an ******** company) and show a circle of the small print where it says B300 batteries. They say they dont like to take phone calls. The manual and website tech specs only mention the B300S batteries with this unit and it states there is a 2 year warranty although the website says 4 years. They said they will work on fixing their website with the next update but in the meantime they offer no concession even with their error. I emailed that I want to return it because I didnt get what I ordered and they said I would have to pay the return and original shipping charges. At around 300 pounds probably at least $800 lost so this is not a solution. We hooked it up to test it and it is not working as advertised but all we want is to return it, not deal with non existent customer service. The tech person and customer service is the same person from what we can tell. We have never filed a complaint before but people need to know to avoid this business, from what I understand they block all negative reviews so were just hoping this helps.Business Response

I purchased the ac200L directly from Bluetti web site. I received Bluetti confirmation of the sale with their directions that a future email with a tracking number and sale confirmation number will be emailed to me. As of 2/23/24 I havent received anything from Bluetti. I have sent emails x2on 2/18/24 & 2/21/24, no response. I have called their phone (customer support, order and tracking, and customer service) following their directions to leave my name and phone number and they would return my calls. Hi, on January 8 **** I purchased the solar generator from Amazon from 3rd party sellers bluetti a power station ac200l. I received it January 11, **** by *****. As soon as I received it I opened it up and plugged the generator into my outlet and it was saying 58% so I kept it plugged in and I pushed all the other buttons that needed to be on to charge it to 100% and it did nothing at all the numbers never moved! So I knew right off it must be defective I experienced this same issue with another generator and I had to send it back! I got in touch with bluetti sent them a email through Amazon they responded and said what do you mean it won't charge what did you use to charge it. Of course I used there cords that they sent to charge it I explained. I called their number and left a message and told them about the problem. Someone called me back and I explained again she sent me a email to fill out I did. I've 2 more email complaining asking for a return slip they sent approval but no paid for return slip! At this point we're going around in circles someone else wrote after I complained to Amazon and they responded asking the same question like they never got the other complaints from me! They're aware of this they have other complaints on Amazon and your website better business bureau so they're selling defective solar generators! I am rejecting this response because:The company is replying by email with irrelevant requests for tracking numbers and/or shipping receipts before any shipments occur.
To my understanding, the agreement with the company is:
On the companys side:
1. Reply by email on the date and time the warehouse is ready to accept the return for the products that I listed in my previous email.
2. Reply by email and confirm what will be the amount of money in $CAD that you will refund, as I listed in my previous email.
3. Within 48 hours of the return, ****** ******* time, you will refund the money.
On my side:
1. I will arrange the return of the products at my own expense and my own delivery option to your warehouse in Ajax.
2. The return will be on the date the warehouse expects, within the agreed time.I am expecting for a written confirmation as above and we can complete this transaction.
I am requesting the company to stop sending irrelevant requests and waste time.

Dec 2023 complaint: Warranty work not being done.They sent me a box via FED Ex that I had to PayPal them $20 for on November 19th for returning the unit. See image After dozens of interactions for "request *****" via email over the past several months with two folks (last being "Kiki" and "*****"), the company will not issue a return authorization shipping label saying that their *** Shipping System is "abnormal and they can't issue arrange the (return) shipment during this time" for warranty repair. This is -only- after I contacted them after waiting over a week for the shipping label they promised to mail me and never did.The price of the unit, purchased directly from their MaxOak Bluetti website, was over $1800 a couple years ago and I have six pages of fault codes after using the unit four times.I believe, after reading other BBB complaints, that they've not intended on doing the warranty work and have been stringing me along. More Information...A new ticket ***** was opened 12-22-2023 @10am PST via phone with *** as an add on to the previous ticket with ***** and **** (phone customer service rep *** states he can't add on to the orihinal ticket number) as the Warranty Work done by Bluetti did not resolve the issue. Specifically, unit does not charge from any of the four Bluetti 200 watt foldable PV solar panels, which I tested individually, and the calendar resets each time the unit is turned on (day to day), which I've been doing to test PV charging ability. As we've had days of storms, it took several days to get clear enough weather to ensure adequate sun. *** will escalate this ticket to have the unit replaced. He also noted that my order number from when I log into their main website, is also associated with another customer from 2021, someone named ***** whom I do not know, so they have an internal purchase order code number issue that needs to be looked at. Allegedly, they sent. The tax refund. To my amazon gift card balance. 5 days ago; Wit: As of 11-28-23 I can't find. Any refund. Of the tax.
Then, on top. Of suffering, all of that harassment; They promised me a $30.00 refund. Towards, the new purchase.
5 days later. I do not have. That $30.00 promo refund. And their worker. On their amazon e-mail department. Refuses to tell me. Where and when: They will deliver. That promise.
