    On Saturday (7-June-25), I called my warranty company for clogged pipe (kitchen sink/dishwasher). (Home Service Club in ********** Phone #**************). I called them several times ****************** and was told that they are still seeking a plumber. On Tuesday (10-June-25), I was able to call least two (2) plumbers with the response time of less than three (3) hours. I don't desire to take reimbursement route. I had several issues with them in the past regarding their response to service calls.Claim #******* 13-Oct-24 Hot water heater (Paid out of my pocket).

    Home Service Club home warranty claim *******. I filed a claim for a Wolf oven that was not working on 10/27/24. *** sent out a vendor from ********. A young man of about 20 came and immediately told me he had not brought the tools to evaluate the problem. I gave him the owner manual and warranty registration information. He photographed everything and told me that the oven needed some parts.I heard nothing for two weeks and called Tekniton. They told me that they were unable to get the parts and had notified ***. I called HSC who set up another appointment with Tekniton which was then cancelled.I called back HSC who sent me a message through their web portal saying that they could not get parts and would give me the cost of a new oven. I heard nothing again and called. I was assigned a case manager- ****** ****.****** **** called me at a random time a over a week later. She told me that the claim was not covered as she did not have a serial number for my oven. I told her that the tech who came out had all the information and had taken photos. She had not received photos. She told me I would have to pull the oven out myself to find the serial number. I was away from my house at the time and unable to get information. She promised to call me back later. She did not call.I contacted **** and confirmed the serial number. I looked at the paperwork I had given the original technician and confirmed that he had the correct number from our original call. I called ****** **** at the number left in her contact. She said she was at extension 2449. It was wrong. I contacted *** and they gave me the number ************. I called and entered extension 2449- The message said"Destination is not available, not registered or there are no routes available. I emailed ****** 3X and sent five messages on the web portal with the serial/model numbers. No reply. Customer ********************** set up a phone appointment with her for this morning at 9am. She has not called. I am being stonewalled.

    paid for a 1 year contract with home service club, file a claim #******* in july for repair on AC they refused to repair and close the account.

    We had a home warranty with these people but we decided we needed to cancel because my husband had been out of work and we were falling behind in our bills. My husband called after they deducted $55 payment on October 22, 2024 and tried to cancel and get him money back. They would not refund the money but since we didnt want it taken out the following month we cancelled the service. That said, our water heater broke and water was leaking all over the basement. We called them since we paid the monthly fee on Oct 22 (and this was October31st) and they would not allow us to file a claim until they reinstate our account which now will take until the beginning to middle of next week. This is Friday. We have no hot water and 8 kids in the home. We paid our payment on Oct 22 and still should have access to services until the middle of November. There is no reason I should not have been able to file a claim since their dues were paid. They refused to refund our payment and refused services. So what did my $55 pay for on October 22nd? Two days of service? Thats not right and this is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I would advise people to run the other direction unless they want to be ripped off.

    We have repeatedly tried to get our home warranty company to provide service for covered items on our contract and they keep refusing. They stated months ago that our appeals would be assigned and addressed within 24 hours and no one is doing any type of follow up. We are unable to use our stove or garage door. We requested a refund previously and they are refusing stating all funds had been used, however, we have over a year left on our policy and should be able to receive at least the unpaid months left in refund as they also offer a monthly option at no additional charge to others. They will not follow up and when we call we are put on hold for extended periods of time. We would like a refund for our paid to.e through 12/25 and there's no excuse for not doing so.

    We have had this home warranty for approximately 5-6 months. We made a claim for our shower on or around June 18th. A service tech came out a week later. The company denied our claim in 24 hours saying the shower was not installed correctly. That is not the case. I called and spoke to a "solution specialist" he told me to send in the home inspection. We sent the inspection and the shower in question was up to code on the report. I have called repeatedly and have gotten no answers. I was supposed to receive a call and email from a case manager on Monday, that never happened. Finally today a case manager contacted me and just sat there silently while I explained the situation. When I was shopping for a home warranty company I asked questions about coverage because I didn't want to go through all this hassle. The sales rep told me as long as the appliances/fixtures are installed correctly there should be no issues. That is completely false. They should send an adjuster over to look at customers houses to warn them that they will not in fact cover what they claim to cover. As the plumber was leaving he made mention that this company is notorious for not wanting to pay for repairs.

    The third floor bathroom at my house was leaking. The second floor ceiling showed damage.I filed a claim with the home service club. For three days, they ignored me and things continued to get worse. I sent several messages. Home service club told me not to call my own plumber or to get other help. While I waited, a chunk of the ceiling fell down. Someone finally showed up and charged me 65. He diagnosed the problem as a leaky second floor toilet. This was obviously wrong, unless my house is exempt from the law of gravity. He did not turn on the water and admitted as much in his report. He did not open any walls or have any meaningful conclusions. I pointed this out to home service club and called my own plumber. He diagnosed a leak in the plumbing system due to normal wear and tear. The plumber confirmed that this is precisely the kind of thing that is supposed to be covered under the warranty. I submitted this to home service club. They continued to refuse to honor the claim. They refused to compensate me for the damage to my house caused by their instruction not to call my own plumber. They have not paid for my housing during this time when my house is uninhabitable.

    Today on 2/15/2024 I revived 18 calls within 3 minutes back to back from the sales team. When calling back one of the reps attempted to insult me and then proceeded to threaten me by informing me not to forget I gave them all my info including my name and Address. After calling back and attempting to speak to someone in charge I spoke to someone claiming to be the vp of sales. Who preceded to tell me thats its normal for them to call 18 times in three minutes back to back and did not have a problem with them harassing people. And regarding the threat he claimed is wasnt and that he was just informing me. It was obvious I was not interested and then when they didnt like I didnt give them the time of day they harassed me then attempted not insult me then proceeded to threaten me. All while Mr. ** of sales thought it was all okay. Disgusting. If the company wants to investigate I have the call log and other info as well. Supposedly calls are recorded as shouldnt be hard.

    : In 10/3023 I bought 2 five-year HSC warranty contracts for 2 rentals. At one rental I filed a claim with HSC on Monday, January 8th 2024 in the morning, because the water heater seemed to be not working. A technician will contact me, HSC said. When NO technician contacted me, on Tuesday I called the technicians company and asked, when they will inspect the water heater and the answer was: Friday. I told them that is not acceptable to have no hot water for so long in the winter. Finally, they sent a technician on Wednesday. Thursday, I asked HSC, they declined the claim because of corrosion. The technician told me, that he didnt mention corrosion in his report. It is not acceptable to take so much time for a decision - and for no corrosion stated in the report. I canceled the contract. For the other rental I canceled the contract as well with no claim, because I dont need a contract for nothing. I paid for 2 five-year contracts for two rentals $3,899.70 and after only 3 month and no approved claim they only refunded $2,313.96. The difference is and I paid: $1,585.74. For 3-month coverage

    Claim #: ******* I have 2 complaints about this company and the first was a claim about my Dryer. My dryer stopped drying and I filed a claim and they assigned ***** to come out. The technician came in July of 2023 and stated the panel needed to be changed. 2 weeks later I heard nothing and called and was told the part could not be located at the moment. I waited and waited with no dryer in my home, so I called again in August a month later and got the same response. I waited another month with no change I waited the 3rd month and called and was told I would be receiving parts. I waited the 4th months and asked them to reimburse me for renting a dryer and they said no. So I rented a dryer from Rent A Center. Parts came and ***** came out to repair but he said that because it has been so many months that the repair fell off the system and was not authorized. Then the technician told me the only way he could reschedule was for him to report we were a no show for the appointment. He scheduled for about a week later and that time came and they stated that all parts had not been sent. Finally after 6 months with no dryer they came and fixed the Issue. I have never had any business transaction like this one and they didn't offer any reimbursement. I was going to cancel service, but I think it was the vendor more than them. So I stayed in contract and had another Issue that I will file, your F grade for them needs to be boosted.
