    Las Vegas: Do not EVER do business with Nevada Coin Mart or the owner Neil ********


     


    . If you'd like details on what happened, feel free to message me. I will tell you that I have never been treated so badly in my life. It was abusive. I have been a supporter of the owner and his business for years. He personally attacked me the other day as I tried to conduct business there. His behavior and what he said to me was completely unacceptable. I am thinking about filing a report with the police. The best revenge would be to discourage business with him at this point.
    I cannot stress to you how ugly, mean and horrible the owner, Neil ******** is and his employees follow his lead. DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS THERE! Trust me on this one.

    Adele, was a personal friend in the past.  She was abusive to one of my employees, and when I stepped in to stop her, she got even more abusive.  I asked her to never come back, as she left my employee visibly shaken, but she also scared the elderly couple to the left of her window with her loud & abusive behavior.    I will take this negative review, but please be aware that this review is personal, in nature, and she is targeting me because I told her never to come back.

    I have visited Nevada Coin Mart multiple times over the last 5 years and have always been pleased with their service and fairness. Recently I came in with multiple trays of what I believed to be mostly costume jewelry from an inheritance and was waited on without delay. The clerk was very knowledgeable and efficiently sorted my items finding some gold and silver. The total offer for the entire bundle was way above my expectations, well worth my time to bring it in and an overall pleasant experience. I highly recommend Nevada Coin Mart to anyone and cannot think of a reason to go anywhere else. I always walk out with a smile on my face.

    Great experience with Neil and the Nevada Coin Mart staff! Neil made it possible to pay off our granddaughter's medical bill by giving us a generous price on our coins. He was caring and thoroughly professional with my husband and me. We will recommend Nevada Coin Mart to all of our friends.

    Awesome business! I was hesitant to bring my coins and jewelry for fear of being embarrassed. The employee who helped me was great. He was honest, professional and caring. I didn't catch his name but he had a long red beard with lots of tattoos. He made me feel at home.

    Always been impressed with Nevada Coin Mart.**** is a genuine guy. And he never screwed me on prices and things like that.The silver guys won't mess with you here.The pawns and loans and things are fair.Great collectibles. Interesting things to buy.Fair bullion prices within reasonable range of spot.Very very safe building.Many options in Nevada; this is a great one.

    **** is never there. I guess he's to busy making phony commercials for his business. Instead he has a bunch of inexperienced rude kids evaluating your jewelry and completely low balling you with offers when you know its worth more. I had one kid tell me it wasn't worth anything to him before he even picked it up to evaluate the diamonds. He actually said "we just melt everything down and dont sell jewelry in the store so we dont give the best price for jewelry" He acted completely uninterested and then THREW it back in a tacky plastic tupperware at me!! I said aren't you even going to check the diamonds? Then he was like "Oh ...Oh...yeah...okay"... The ring had ******************************************************* a low ball offer.I had it appraised at another shop the day before, and they gave me a great offer! The next day I brought it to Nevada Coin Mart because in his commercials he's always saying he gives the best and most money for your jewelry so I was thinking Wow Ill go to ****'s and get an even better price , as he claims...What a waste of time...he should be embarrassed how much he ***** up his store, then you go because of what he preaches and are faced with a bunch of RUDE INEXPERIENCED UNINTERESTED KIDS not even knowing what they are talking about. I will never go back there and will spread the word that this place is the worst filled with rude kids working there scamming people.

    This person made 2 false claims (I will explain further below):

    1. **** is never there

    2. We scammed her

     

    **** IS NEVER THERE:

    They made a comment that was untrue:   "**** is never there".   This is not factual.   We see multiple customers at a time, and the owner cannot do every transaction.

    He is available, when he is needed.   So claiming he is never there, is factually incorrect.

    SCAMMING PEOPLE:

    Also the lady saying we are scamming people, is also incorrect. In her initial message she stated that the worker initially refused to make an offer.  She then pressed him for an offer, and he made one that she didn't like.

    This is NOT a scam.   Sometimes we do not want to make an offer on low-value items, because we do not want to offend the person.  This person pressured the buyer for an offer, and then was offended when she was given one.

    We initially didn't even want to buy her item, out of respect for her, and not wanting to offend.  She was the one that pressured us for an offer.

    This goes against her claim that we scammed her.   Us not making an initial offer, and not wanting to buy flies in the face of this accusation. 

     

    Additionally, the review is very personal, and insulting: "UNINTERESTED KIDS".  There is no need to be insulting just because you didn't like an offer that we made.

    So the item in question was not a " low value " item. The worker actually said to me that they don't sell jewelry so what they buy just gets melted down. In other words initially telling me that the diamonds in the item didn't matter, BEFORE even looking at the diamonds. When I asked him to look at the diamonds, he acted "uninterested" to look and evaluate the diamonds for me, gave me a much lower offer than I knew the item was worth and when I told them no thank you to the offer he then rudely threw it into the tacky plastic tupperware saying the diamonds don't matter because the store just melts down everything. Yes , so to my surprise acting " uninterested" in the diamonds. I went to your establishment because you say in your commercial you are an expert " gemologist" but the kid I wound up with made ME, the CUSTOMER, FEEL like I was in a low grade **** shop. And that was MY truthful experience.

    And just so we are clear, I didn't "PRESS" anyone for an "offer". I politely asked if he could evaluate the diamonds because he never looked at them or showed interest in looking at them before telling me that hey just melt down the jewelry. So, yes, to ME, the Customer, it felt "scamy", yes.
