I received a very threatening letter in the mail today which is November 24, 2023. They are saying that if I don’t pay they supposed debt that they will subpoena me and take me to court. The letter also says that it has my credit score which is nowhere near with my credit score is and it says that it was filed with the court and that they would get me for NSF fraud.
They do not return phone calls and the email does not work also I have never taken a loan with consumer Ezcorp ezmoney.
I am in a active bankruptcy i told them this and that they needed to send to my lawyer and they did not send anything to them.
I am going to say I have done everything i was supposed to and they game me nothing in return from the complaint. this is bogus and against my rights as a person. I hope they get exactly what they deserve.

Received a threatening letter regarding a nonexistant payday loan and some nonsense about closing my bank account. Freaked me out at first because they have so much information, including relatives. Glad to know I'm not alone with this garbage!

This place is a scam. I never took out a payday loan. Also the witnesses I don’t even know. Could someone please do something about this company.

Sent me a fake "lawsuit" in the mail, stating I owe them $774 for a payday installment loan that I took from "EZCORP EZMONEY" (known scam organization) while working "for *****" (who I've never worked for). I have never ever taken a payday loan. The letter is decently convincing, with the last 4 of my SSN, my wife and fathers names listed as witnesses. Letterhead and layout looks somewhat legit, and has a detachable bottom portion to mail them a check. Their website you can tell is not professional and has links in it to make this "payment." Hopefully the FTC will shut these idiots down quickly.

I received a very threatening letter in the mail today which is November 14, 2023. They are saying that if I don’t pay they supposed debt that they will subpoena me and take me to court. The letter also says that it has my credit score which is nowhere near with my credit score is and it says that it was filed March of this year but I am just now receiving the letter. It also has the same address as the website except the zipcode is different so that was a little concerning to me as well, I was definitely going to call a lawyer to see what to do about this letter.

What a scam letter. I never took out a loan from the Company they claimed I did. I love the needless threats they put in the letter, actually, as I read it out loud to my Husband we started laughing. Especially after they said that they would subpoena my late mother-in-law. We figured if they tried we could take them her ashes. A big thing they got wrong was my mother-in-law being a witness to this supposed loan. She never witnessed any loan that I got.

Should be able to give negative stars. Sent me a letter threatening legal action stating a have a debt I do not have. Calling went to voice mail so I left a message with the same energy as their letter. Also, they threatened to subpoena my mother. She died last year. What a scam.
