This company calls me daily non stop for months. I've returned their calls and told them my name and I am not who they are looking for. I don't know of this business and I have a good job, I don't need a loan for anything. I was told every single time I will be taken off their call list and apologized to for the inconvenience. Yet, here we are again today with the calls. I want this company to stop harassing me. I don't know if someone else used my number for their services but I am not who they are looking for and clearly they will not take no for an answer

      RE: CASE ID: #********

      Dear **********************,

First, we want to thank you for being our valued tax customer and assure you that we have exhausted all avenues to retrieve your 2021 tax refund check, despite the bank account closure. In general, closing a bank account prior to receiving your *** refund does not leave us with an option to update your *** records with a new bank account once the *** has accepted your tax return and your refund is in transit. Closing a bank account would naturally cause a delay in a refund as well as require research to locate your funds and make them available to you. Due to the confidential nature of this matter, we cannot proceed by law with providing more details on a public platform about your personal tax information. I have left a couple of voice mails at the telephone number provided with BBB and I hope to hear back from you soon and provide more information and directions on next steps on how to retrieve your refund check in person.

We truly appreciate your business, and I am available to help with tax inquiries you may have now and in the future!

      Sincerely,

      *****************************

I used to be able to take a loan out online, go into the store next door and RESCIND it with cash. They said they broke the law twice by letting me to do it and now they refuse to allow me to Rescind in store. If they did it before why can't they do it now? If they broke the law they should be held responsible. It's on video recording them admitting to doing it and not wanting to do it now. This caused me a huge financial burden and anxiety.

      Re: ***************************** Complaint
At Check City, two of our core values are to adhere to all state and federal regulations and to treat our customers with courtesy and respect. We regret that ****************** had an issue with her loan and want to do everything we can to help resolve her concerns. We attempted to contact ****************** by phone but have not been able to reach her.
We have reviewed ******************** complaint and account. It appears she originated a loan with Check City online and then attempted to rescind the loan at a different storefront location. Nevada statute states that a customer may rescind the loan the next business day at the location where the loan was initiated. Check City representatives advised ****************** that she needed to request the rescission online since that is where the loan was originated. Check City always adheres to state statute and regulation. At times, we have allowed customers to request rescission at a different store front location than where the loan was originated as a courtesy to the customer. We apologize for the confusion this created in ******************** case.
Our goal is to exceed our customers expectations and we apologize that we fell short in this case. We appreciate ******************** business and hope we will have the opportunity to work with her again in the future. Please contact us if any additional assistance is needed.
      Sincerely,
      Atlantis Stepan
