    The professional staff as individuals are wonderful and caring people. This is a facility with at least 100 patients. The caregivers perform thorough care when they do reach the patient although a patient can wait two hours after pushing a bell to be changed in the bed. Everyone knows their job, but there are not enough nursing assistance or registered nurses to help the patients in a timely fashion. Half of these patients have tracheostomy and ventilators. This is pretty intense care to require so few people I have a relative there and I have been told That there are two nurses and three certified nursing assistance on each half unit which is about 50 patients. This is a for-profit facility. They do not have enough staff, and the owners aren't taking money from unconscionable staffing practices affecting mostly elderly patients. There are respiratory therapists on duty at all times. There is a gymnasium and physical therapy program although what is promised as five times a week sessions cannot happen every day with this many patients. my relative was promised five sessions a week however, the sessions did not start immediately. The three stars are for the dedication of the staff members, cleanliness of the facility, and location near the center of the city.
