Booked appointment at ************************************* Comprehensive *************** for 1 pm Mon Jan 13, 2025. Received confirmation email saying I should show up before 12;45 pm. Couldn't fill out the online forms due to visual disability. Called Mon am and confirmed I'd show up via **** prior to 112;30pm and that the customer service *** would be calling the clinic ensuring that there would be someone to help me fill out the forms.Confirmed for a 2nd time, as I had when I made the original appointment, that I had been extremely ill with the flu for months, suffering from extreme pain due to ************************* could barely function at all, unable to stand, would need help & a comfy chair, might need help getting out of the chair as well as filling out all of the forms. Though dressed warmly I had never been so cold in my entire life. Under the best of health I cannot stand for even 5 min. Shook & shivered with cold for about 1/2 hr.When office staff finally opened the door at 1 pm he pointed to the sign saying I should have read it was closed. Re: Complaint ID: ********

Dear Mr. ********************* you for your correspondence dated 02-13-2025 regarding ****** ******.I am sorry to hear that Ms. ****** had less than optimal experience with our medical group. We pride ourselves in ensuring an optimal patient experience.

The patient was scheduled at 1:00 pm on January 13, 2025. The office is closed for lunch from 12:00 noon to 12:45 pm. When the front office opened the doors at 12:45 PM, Ms. ****** entered the lobby extremely irate. She began arguing and yelling at the staff, even at a patient in the waiting room. Because she stated she was cold, she was immediately accommodated and placed in a warmer room, and the staff assisted her in completing her paperwork. Although multiple efforts were made to make her experience a position one, she remained threatening and argumentative toward the healthcare team.

An office visit was performed, but care could not be established due to her belligerent behavior.

Unfortunately, reimbursement for transportation cannot be permitted. According to ******** regulations the amount exceeds what is considered a nominal value by the Office of Inspector General (***), and that would be a violation of our participatory contract.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or concerns.

      Sincerely,

      Dr. ******** ****

I am rejecting this response because: Business is LYING. I was told in an email to show up at the pain center BEFORE !2:45 PM for my 1 pm appointment. Since I was physically unable to fill out the forms onlin, I CALLED the business that morning and asked for advice.

Busness told me to show up WAY EARLY and DEFINITELY BEFORE 12:30 pm so that I could get help in filling out the forms from thee STAFF and be ready EARLY for thee appontment. Business REPEATEDLY LIED to me, telling me that they had personally called thee clinic and that they WERE EXPECTING ME before 12:30 pm.

NEVER was I told that the business would NOT allow me entry before 1 pm.

I told the business over and over and over again that I could NOT physically stand and that I was EXTREMELY SICK with the flu.

Staff at the clinic YELLED at me pointing to the sign claiming that they didd NOT have to open the clinic before 1 pm.

Staff told me that they NEVER had been told to expectt me way early, REFUSED to acknowledge my eamil saying I should show up before 12:45pm for help, NEVER had they been told I was to show up BEFORE 12:30 pm If I needed help filling out the forms.

EVERYTHING in the response email is a LIE.

      Sincerely,

      ****** ******
