I have an identical problem to one shown for a Sports Illustrated subscription. I have been billed twice by Sports Subscribers Services NV but never received a magazine. My credit card was billed $68.48 August 25th, 2022 and again on Feb. 25th, 2023 for $68.48. I complained at their site but never received a reply. I asked to end the subscription. I didn't even ask for a refund.Business Response

SI Renewal Services said they would have no further contact with me. Instead, they again billed my credit card on 8/25/23 the same amount of $68.48 as in past ********. I have not even asked for a refund yet they continue to bill me.

Since my last email to you, Subscribers Services has responded to me with this email.
"We have canceled the order and recurring charges and issued a refund. **************** Support Team." I thanked them for their efforts though they had canceled the order and recurring charges before and my credit card was still billed again in August. This time they have issued a refund which is a step better. I will be looking for that refund on my next banking statement.

Although I cancelled my Sports Illustrated subscription last year, I received a credit card charge of $38.64 on May 26 from "Sports Subscribers Ser Magazinesubsc Nv". I am furious-- this is the second time this has happened to me. I have no digital subscription, no print subscription, yet this company keeps billing my credit card. I am rejecting this response because: While I am pleased to hear that SI has pledged not to charge me anymore, I still expect them to refund the most recent charge. I requested cancellation back in November 2022, and there is no excuse for them to keep charging me. This is the second time that they have auto-charged me this year despite my cancelling my subscription.

I renewed my subscription to Sports Illustrated by mail in March to take advantage of a special offer for early renewal. On March 25 my credit card was charged $142.40 which was to cover a two year subscription plus 20 free issues. I just received a renewal notice from Sports Illustrated stating that my subscription expires in September 2023. This does not reflect the renewal charged to my credit card on March 25. I contacted Sports Illustrated through their web site and they say they have no record of the payment. My Sports Illustrated account number is **********. My **************** has been charged $76.16 on 3/20/2023 for renewal of my Sports Illustrated subscription for 64 issues plus 5 free issues. I am not receiving the magazine. I tried calling the phone number provided *************) which is only a recording sending you to a website ( subscriberrenewalservices.com). The website provides a place to submit an email of your issue. I have send two email responses of my issue with no response to either. I don't have a magazine so I don't have the account number. I do have the invoice number that was on the renewal notice I received. The invoice number is *********. i also received a thank email that stated my order number was *******. I have had 4 recurring charges every 6 months from Sports subscriber services magazines subs ** ** of $68.42 on my credit card. I called Sports Illustrated since I pay them directly for my subscription - they confirmed my account and when the next billing from them would occur. I have no idea what this recurring charge is for from SI Renewal Services since when I try to determine what it is for on the web it refers me to sites implying it is for Sports Illustrated. I am concerned these charges are not valid. I would like an explanation as to what these charges are for. If the charges are bogus I want refunds and also be taken off of their subscription list.Business Response

It looks as though this was setup as a recurring charge every 6 months instead of once a year as it should have been. This was for a recurring renewal subscription for Sports Illustrated.
We have now removed the recurring charging from the account and have issued a refund.
We have also marked the account for no future contact.

In May of 2022, I received a renewal notice for my *************************** from ******************* *********************************** Suite ****- *********, ** *****. I sent a check, dated June 1, 2022, check no.3380 for 160 issues at $134.40 plus 20 free issues. The payment cleared on June 9, 2022. I had forgotten about it until I received a Sports Illustrated LAST ISSUE renewal form on March 5, 2023. I went through my records and then contacted Sports Illustrated (on a phone number obtained from the magazine). SI **************** had no record of my ********************** and said the magazine was not affiliated with Subscriber Services. I called Subscriber Services on a number provided on their renewal notice and left a voice message. I haven't received a callback, nor any of my 160 +20 issues and my current subscription ends April 2023. I want a refund of $134.40.Business Response

Subscriber Services has been in business since ****. All orders are processed through an authorized clearinghouse for subscription agents who are authorized directly with *************************** to clear orders for Subscriber Services and it's divisions since ****. Our name *** not be listed, however we do have an agreement with a authorized subscription agent authorized to clear orders for Sports Illustrated. Sports Illustrated uses a call center in *************** and sometimes they dont give out the correct information.
