At the Luxor, we were told that we would get free buffet and $125 in gift cards if we took a two hour tour of the World Mark. I said we could only do an hour because we had an event to go to. The sales man said that was no problem, but when we got to the tour, they said it was two hours FIRM! They reimbursed us for the Uber there, but we lost $25 on the Uber back and wasted an hour of our time on travel.

This was a complete scam. From the moment they stopped us in Vegas we asked what the incentive was with the $99 stay to come back and they stated nothing, that this was just to get people to come back to Vegas. When we officially booked I asked more questions and even looked over the paper they Gave us with our invoice of the 99 we paid because I felt weird about this “cheap vacation” And still nothing stated anything about a time share or having to go to a 90 minute class. Not only did they charge $99 in the beginning I also got charged a few other fees on top of that and then another $422 on my account saying I paid for a time share. Nothing was said about a time share or even this fee or about the class. I feel completely scammed and requested to cancel and got my money back and just booked our own stay in Vegas. Calling my bank tomorrow to completely dispute. We basically spent LESS money booking on our own than this scam of a company. Don’t trust these people at all.

We were approached at the Luxor. We were told we weren’t expected to buy anything if we didn’t want to just needed to attend presentations. Presentation was fine we were there for a little over two hours. We were told that $50 needed to be paid as a deposit. We got all the gifts but I have yet to get my $50 back. It’s been over a week and still nothing. I’m not sure who to call but it should not take two weeks for a refund

Don't get suckered into doing a so say 2 hour no pressure presentation. Me and my friend where staying at the Excalibur and was approached by a Take a Break vacation rep. We talked to the guy (Rory) and was told we would receive 3 tickets to the Tournament of Kings show and dinner, $100 casino credit, and 2 $25 gift cards to cover the Uber. Well the 2 hours turned into 4+. The sales rep (Tyler) was very nice and informative. Of course when we said we weren't going to buy he got cold. Well he sent us to another room and a lady (trust me when I say lady that's being nice). This lady (Jane Howard) was more than beyond rude. When we mentioned we had been there for 4 hours and just wanted to get what we where promised and go she got extremely rude and said you just wasted the sales rep time and they work on commission and other things that were very rude and unnecessary. She then sent us to an area to sign in to receive our show tickets and other vouchers. Well when we were called into the room to receive our items the Take a Break Vacation rep (don't remember her name) said oh the show is sold out and we can't give you tickets for it. We looked up the show on our phone and showed her it wasn't sold out she said well I'm only able to give you what they (nonifea who they are at this point)put into the system. We explained that we had not made reservations for anything else that evening (Friday) because we were told we had the tickets to the show. Basically was told sorry not my problem. So instead of the 3 tickets they gave us 2 $50 gift cards. NOTE we were supposed to receive 3 89.00 dinner and show tickets. The two gift cards barely covered the value of one ticket. Don't trust RCI or the reps for Take a Break Travel Service.
