I had bought a brand new 2024 Yamaha wave runner vx cruiser ho on 03/29/2025 . 10 days later I purchased it. I decided to go take it to lake for the first time . I unloaded the ski off the trailers. I started the ski up move it up to the dock to tie it up. While I park my truck when I get back to the dock it had check engine and temperature light on was beeping loudly . When I open up the seat to check ski was smoking . Soon as I seen that I loaded the ski back up to my truck . So when the ski was back up on my trailer . I looked more into it there was about 8 ins of water into the hull part which no water should be there . So I inspected underside of the ski and found several cracks . Called the dealership told them about it and they exactly told me yeah there shouldnt be no water there at all something is wrong bring it to us soon as you can so thats exactly what I did . Left the lake went straight to the dealership told drop it off .

We lost the key fob to our Yamaha Tmax 2016. After calling around we were told to take it to the dealership because if someone didnt know how to program, it could burn the system. We called the dealership and asked if they could reprogram a key and they said yes. After about 10 days they said they needed the code that comes with the bike in order to program the key. Since the key was missing they said they would have to drill out the locks, lift the seat and get the code. That would cost $450 to replace the locks and program the key. We agreed. Once that was done and after another extended amount of time they said they had to call Yamaha because they werent sure how to program the key. Then after another 10 day wait, they told us they couldnt program the key and we would need to replace the entire ignition system at a cost of $3,000 in addition to the charge for the locks. We really couldnt believe that we brought a perfectly running bike that just needed a key and now it is going to be almost $4,000 to fix our 2016 bike. We called the manufacturer and they advised us that people lose keys all the time and it just needs to be programmed and they checked to see if the dealerships contacted the manufacturers technicians. The manufacturer advised us that they showed a call from the dealership just asking some questions but never asking for tech support to walk them through the reprogramming. Now again after a prolonged wait they called to inform us that the entire system needs replacement. The bike was in perfect running order it just needed a fob programmed and now they burned it trying to program without knowledge or assistance from the manufacturer.
