    They created fake invoices and withdrew payment from my bank without my authorization. Never do businesswith them - dishonest and disorganized company.

    An invoice was questioned as the "limited access" fee well over $2,500.00. The response was "oh its a typo" and the invoice was corrected to $250.00. Our business performed an internal audit and found that they were charging additional fees for deliveries without any explanation on the invoices. When questioned we were told "limited access" fees by the freight line. These charges ranged anywhere from an additional $800 - $2500 with no breakdown of fees. Performing research ourselves we found these prices to be extremely inflated. Attempted to communicate with them and ask them their additional fees they added onto the freight line fees; no one would respond by answering our questions only that it was limited access fees and its past the 30 days to file a dispute with the freight line. It was made ABUNDANTLY clear I was not wishing to file a claim on the "limited access" fee and that I was only interested in the inflated charges Unishippers was adding on without prior knowledge. After months of this still no one will respond to my questions. Asked multiple times for their policies and procedures are charges; no response. Asked in great detail on several shipments; no response. Sales Rep will not call to discuss; passing the email onto accounting to handle; no response to our questions. Their invoices are misleading and they hide fees so that unless you call on every single invoice/shipment as you receive the invoice you will not be able to dispute anything. They cannot provide shipping information such as signed BOL until weeks after shipment is done; which therefore takes the shipment past the 30 day "dispute" time. Cannot respond timely on what the fees are as well. Takes them days. It's a logistics company, they should have all documentation at time of billing; how can they bill without the shipping information. I do not recommend them, they saved us no money on freight. We have already saved thousands within a month using a freight line directly.

    I too have been consistently called by Unishippers for the past few years. Decided to give them a try...since they offered better *** rates than I currently had. Well it was a debacle. They ended up charging extraordinarily high package insurance (higher than I could get by just insuring with Worldship). The Sales Rep apologized by saying "I thought I could get you the rate we discussed (.43 per hundred), but my manager says no". Then they started debiting my bank account for fees without supplying any invoices to support debits. Repeated calls to my rep went straight to voicemail, no email response. Tried calling corporate office, no one ever answered the phone. Suffice it to say, I had to dispute and reverse those bank charges. Eventually, someone did reach out three months later to say I was past due. The invoices eventually supplied did not match previous bank debits, so those bank debits, which were higher have no invoice support at all. I would not recommend Unishippers...it is not worth your time.
