      In March of 2022 I contracted with Near Me Remodeling ($20,000 with a change order because it was underbid). to completely remodel my bathroom so that was ADA compliant to accommodate my increasingly debilitating disability. They were to remove existing fixtures, repair/replace the exterior wall, install new floor and install handicap bars/commode/walk in shower with seat. I was required to provide the fixtures and many of the materials including the flooring. When the project manager Brian told us the job was complete he demanded full payment saying he would address the punch list himself.
      Numerous cancelled appointments, ignored letters and phone calls later. The infrastructure that makes the bathroom ADA compliant is falling apart. I cannot roll my wheelchair into the bathroom, the tile on the seat I transfer is falling off leaving sharp edges that connect with the back of my legs. The grout was never sealed and is dried out, cracking and falling out. The door was never sealed and is warping along with numberous other cosmetic issues.

      $5850
      Tear off of lower flat roof, installation of rolled roof, removal of debris.
      Roofing was not properly installed, siding was not reinstalled, corners were not flashed properly. Water poured into my entryway started my ceiling light on fire and ran down my paneled foyer closet.
      Called them several times all they did was caulk the voids, not correct procedure, and did nothing to repair my ceiling, light or paneling.

      BBB spoke to Brian at business and the following was relayed:We did the flat roof for the customer and stopped the leaks. When I have asked the customer if there are any leaks currently, he says there are not. As far as the interior repairs, it is unclear what the customer is specifically requesting needs to be repaired that occurred since our repair. Some of the damage he has claimed existed from leaking prior to our work. Please provide a specific list of what is being requested.BBB is requesting pictures be provided of what work customer states needs to be done.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      I tried downloading video of the water pouring into my kitchen, it ruined my ceiling and caused the drywall to separate, the leak we hired Near me for was over the bay window on the opposite side of the room. The only thing they did to repair it was pour a lot of caulking into the hole. This was never flashed up the side walls and will noy last. Please advise.

      Installed gutter on top porch - when it rains the water pour down in the driveway from the gutter - Gutter is not secure Brian K*** wrote the contract. Called him several times and he has not responded to the problem.

      BBB spoke to Brian at business and the following was relayed: There is a gutter issue in the front of the customer's house. I did speak to the customer today and we will make it a priority to get to his residence and resolve as soon as possible.
