  I made the mistake of not researching Near Me, DON'T HIRE THEM! They are not qualified professionals, not BBB accredited, have an F rating, this company owned by Raymond B***, had a long history of unanswered complaints. After doing my first job and talking me into another one, it rained and I saw a ton more leaks, I called manager Brain K****, I explained how their work didn't solve my old issues and made new ones, which I never got resolved after I gave them nearly a year-I just got some sealant, empty promises, excuses, ignored, calls blocked, letters unanswered. The owner, Raymond B*** never calls you from his cell phone featured on his ads, and their office is a PO Box in a *** store. I had two highly rated roofing companies give me estimates, they both told me Near Me did work all wrong and some portions weren't necessary. I won in small claims, Raymond B*** never showed and never paid me a penny, I'm added to the long list of unpaid judgments against Raymond B***. The Buffalo Clerk couldn't find a business license for Near Me. Want his real resume: See Buffalo Clerks Office: 2003, Raymond B*** gets business certificate for Hammer Head Senior Services, lots of negative reviews, lawsuits, closes business, 2017, Raymond B*** files business certificate for Veterans Home Improvement-new name, same pattern: lots of unanswered complaints, unpaid lawsuits, F rating and alert with BBB. 6/25/2021-Raymond B*** while owning Veterans Roofing pleaded guilty at Erie County Court two misdemeanor counts of Failure to Secure Compensation and two counts of misdemeanor Offering a False Instrument for Filing in the 2nd Degree. Raymond B*** "closed Veterans Roofing" for a new PO Box and named it "Near Me Remdeling/Near Me Home Improvements." Don't be fooled the next name/address, do google search on the owner name, prior businesses, see the real history, never hire anything owned by Raymond B***, managed by Brian K**** and/or relatives they employ, same last name.

  On 2-3-22 I signed a contract to have my house resided 5-2-22. I had to contact them when the date was getting closer and it took Brian, the sales rep, a few days to get back to me. He told me my siding wasn't in yet. A few days later, I had to text him again to check on it. After checking he said he was going to the shop to check. He called me and said my order was in, it was the right color but the wrong kind of siding. Brian said I could take the siding that came in and, after asking what kind of discount I'd get, he said they could probably give $100-200 off. I decided to stick to the original siding I ordered and he said approx, 8 weeks it'll be in. Well, I had to keep contacting him waiting for a response. I even called using the *67 so he would answer. At one point he said I might have to choose a different color as he didn't think they'd be making that color anymore. I said ok, bring me samples. He never did. This went on all last year. Around Thanksgiving I texted him a couple times, finally got back to me that he was out of the office and would be returning 12-20. I waited until the new year, texted him 2xs, never heard from him. I then contacted the company to only be told that the prices are going to be a little less than double and to choose another company. No money was ever given but I SIGNED the contract!!! Poor business to go with. Now I have to go through the whole process again! Thanks for nothing.

  They have false advertising ! In the mail flyer the ad states that they are "rated #1 Home Improvement Company in Western New York. " Top rated roofing and siding company for 20 years! They gave an estimate of the work to be done and just kept adding more costs.They never finished the job and said that it would cost more money. They used cheap second hand wood and I have had other contractors come to estimate what it would cost to finish the job and they said that " that company should be a shame of themselves for putting their name on the work!"
