  We used Maffucci for a recent intra-state move. Very happy with their services. The estimate came out quite close to the final price. *** and his team of movers (3 men) were wonderful, very efficient and polite and all items packed and moved quickly and without damage. They double checked then triple checked with us that they had everything. They would have been right on time, but hit traffic and kept us apprised of when they would arrive at each end.   First of all DO NOT use this company! The *************** was great at first and gave us a good quote. HE was joking with us and made us feel comfortable with going with them. We told him other companies were telling us we had ****** lbs of stuff, he said no way! Then he said which I quote "if you have ****** pounds of stuff I will personally pay for your move myself." Makes you believe in him and feel confident with them. Finally moving day came and guess what our quote was off and we had ****** lbs and now our quote was DOUBLED, DOUBLED! He had total amnesia about saying that to us now. He goes I must have been joking. My stuff was already on the truck and he told me my fee was now doubled. He didn't care or give a **** that his estimate was WAY off. What he does is low ball all his estimate so on the day of the move and your estimate is doubled you have no choice but to pay for it because they already have your stuff hostage on the truck. **** is a arrogant jerk off and takes advantage of people. He throws around the fact he has been doing this for 40 years and that he never gets a estimate wrong. Well ***** you were off, way off on my estimate. Now we were also not told ahead of time what day our stuff was coming. I got a knock at the door 12 days after my pick up and it was the moving company. I was shocked at the door and was not prepared for them. When I was said I was shocked to see them, that I had no heads up the driver started yelling and cursing at me like I did something wrong. Total nightmare to work with this company. They take advantage of people being vulnerable and bullies them into overpaying. That *************** is a scumball and a complete FRAUD!!Best is I have boxes missing and items broken and they refuse to pay for them. They told me my boxes aren't missing and if they were they don't know where they are. They are not liable for anything. FRAUD COMPANY

  After evaluating several companies, I chose Maffucci Moving for my cross-country move from CA to CT and Im very happy I did. I had a challenging situation both in terms of the move (multiple locations) and a narrow time window to get it done and they couldn't have been better. Both crews were extremely attentive, personable and genuinely cared about doing a great job for us. I highly recommend them!
