This started November 5th 2022 .Lumico asked me to fill out paper work to proceed with my claim and I did all that they required then Lumico sent me forms to release medical records to sign and give them back .So the Hospital sent them 445 pages that was put on a CD and sent to them about my mom's medical records .So then I waited and heard nothing untill December 21 2022 and lumico said they received the CD of her medical records that they requested for them to send then they told me they need more information more Doctors information so I am very frustrated with Lumico and then on Dec 28th 2022 I called back and lumico said they received more reports from the doctor that they received and now their reviewing it again with a third party nurse .But now their saying they have to go in the order that the claims recived .So now their saying this will be Delayed another 6 more weeks .I have asked to speak with their Supervisor I have been getting the run around they said they would call me back within 48 hours and never called back .Everytime I ask Lumico for a Supervisor their is none avalible .And they always tell me they spoke to a Supervisor and the Supervisor tells them their reviewing the case so theirs no need to talk to a Supervisor on this matter I talked to an attorney on this matter he said they have to give you an answer within 30 days or get the matter resolved .i would like something resolved I'm frustrated beyond belief my mother left us this money and now we can't even get it .Thank youBusiness Response

******* tried to take out another ***** out of my bank account on oct 28th even though i am current until nov 24th causing an over draft fee of 30.oo they also took out ****** on oct 19 when I only approved a payment of ***** on that day. I called them today & basicly got the run a round saying that i must have spoken to another agent and that is why they tried to take the funds out and when i told the agent over the phone i only spoke with one person on the 19th of oct and only approved ***** but they took out ****** and that i never spoke to another agent after that He basicly said i must have. This is unexceptable from a life ins company. i expect better and deserve better from my life ins companyBusiness Response

I have been trying to access Lumico's website since mid June. Every time I call about my inability to use the website, due to issues with their website, it is explained to me that others are having issues with the website also, and that someone will contact me within 24 to 48 hours. I have never gotten a call back, and I have contacted Lumico several times...07-18-22, 07-20-22, 07-27-22, and other times too. The wait to speak to someone was just too long to hold. First the site had an issue with my log in information even though my information was correct, I changed my password, and I was still unable to access my account. I have been waiting for assistance because the system never sends me a link to update anything. I also frequently get messages that there is a problem processing my payment, but that is not so. I chose the semi-annual payment option, and the payment has been taken from my account. I have even tried to use other web browsers, and still the issue still goes on. Lumico has been aware of their website issues for at least a month, but the issues have not been resolved, and that is not good business as I should be allowed to access my account whenever I feel the need.Business Response

I am trying on behalf of a family to get this insurance company to answer my questions or give me a number to their corporate office. I keep getting the run around and can not resolve the issues every time I call I get the same answer that the case is under review and will be completed in 2 weeks. This has been since February 1, 2022. The insurance policy payout to us is $9072.56. Our only option is to put the family in collections but we are sympathetic to their dilemma. The family/ beneficiary has reached out to Lumico and given permission to speak to us . This has been unresolved for 6 months and they are just not cooperating. I was told for 3 mos the review would be over by the end of the week. This is unacceptable
