I visited 10-19-2024:Overpriced for very scary haunted houses. There were minimal scare actors in the houses we went in. I paid 160 for 2 people and 3 houses and there were maybe 3-4 actors in each house. And these houses had plenty of corners and space for way more. Security was rude as h*** and attendant in *********** yelled at me for having my phone out right as I walked into the house. I needed my phone to show the outside attendant the ** code to get in. It was a complete waste of money: there was nothing scary about this place. Please dont waste your money here. This business is using bait and switch tactics. On commercials and advertisements they claim to be #1 haunt house on ***********, There was nothing scary about this. It is wildly expensive for no reason. Completely unacceptable the lack of honesty at this place. Minimally scare actors in each house. The decorations were horrible. They had 1 actor running around outside while we waited in line just to get in.Customer Answer

On decemeber 8th 2022 me my husband and my children and nieces and nephew went to bayville winter wonderland to have a great Christmas experience. Needless to say it wasnt that at all. It was a very cold day on this day, which you would expect them to have outdoor heater being that we have access to this type of equipment in this time of day, and them knowing children would be present you think they would warm the place up. So we arrive around 5:30 pm that Saturday about an hour drive from ******** **. We go in get our tickets checked we see a lil train driving few kids around the park so thats a good sign. We get our tickets checked and while there the ticket lady took her sweet time to check the tickets and didnt have much to say to welcome us in but that the fun house would be closing at 7. So after ticket checking we go right to the fun house, and it was a dingy litlle maze attraction full of mirrors once we got to the exit before walking out you literally see where they kept the scary customs and decorations this spooked the kids. We leave from there go back to front where you enter the maze. We ask if its another place to the attendant that let us into the maze. And she says yes a tree house is back there. We asked because it was no signs leading to any attraction no lights or anything. We walk a few feet up go into this tree house and we find out its nothing but a yard full of dingy tree with Christmas lights on them we turned around instantly. We then walk from there to the arcade where we walk in there we arent greets by any worked because they are hanging out talk to each other. We go to the diner thats connected because we thought you get your smores from there being no signs anywhere they tell us its outside before you get into arcade. So we walk into arcade by the rock climb no worker there to let us enjoy that so we then walk outside to get the smores where we sat in front of a fire place for a few mines before leaving the park. We responded to this customer directly when they emailed us asking for a refund. The customer does not really say very much their experience in their email to us. Their main complaint seemed to be that it was a very cold day. It is a winter event with part of the event taking place outside. There is very little we can do about that. There are plenty of places to go inside to warm up as well as fire pits burning wood and places to get hot drinks and food. They only mention two attractions out of many we had available. There is the Toy Factory Fun House, The Christmas Tree Forest, ******************* Train Ride, Ice skating and ice skates included, Indoor rock climbing, Holiday Arts and Crafts, Holiday Characters, The Arcade of Amusements, Santas Soda Shop and the Holiday Tavern. We have had hundreds of thousands of happy guests over the years. We offered the guest free tickets to return as a gesture of good will on a warmer day. The customer refused and then disputed their credit card charges trying to pay nothing. Their bank ruled against them and decided that no credit was die and then they wrote this complaint after they could not get their money back. We care very much that our guests have a wonderful experience. We are sorry we were not able to make them happy.Initial Complaint

I purchased 6 tickets for 12/18/22 for my family for a total of $182.00. I arrived to find most attractions closed to a dark, lonely, and gloomy best Christmas village on Long Island. I spoke to the manager 2 mins after checking in that theres nothing for my ***** year old children to do. She told me I can come back 2 hours later when their rock climbing opens. I asked for a refund politely, she declined. I negotiated for a 6 person pass for the summer. I then called my credit card company to dispute my charges as I have no intentions of returning. Today 12/23/22 a ***************** contacts me via email stating a list of things that were open. This is not true. I humbly ask for your help to get my money back. I have six children. We drove 1 hour to get there and back with great disappointment. I am just disgusted that this business is taking money from our long islanders for poor service. The advertisement online are not the photos of the facility maybe in the past. It was so dark. Please help me!Initial Complaint

10/22/22 Bayville scream park 9pm 5 tickets $433 Business falsely advertising/ SCAM artists. Advertised as a 6 part SCARY haunted house. Houses had no scare actors in them (literally 0), patrons filed through EMPTY houses. Paid $80 for 1 ticket (500 for 5 w tax) with speed pass and it was never utilized/ no one even checked tickets. Stood around in a muddy backyard herded like cattle for hours. Huge SCAM. HUNDREDS of similar experiences in ****** reviews. Attaching my email/review, have tried to reach out to the company via phone, email, message, reviews and no response. Would like to be refunded and make the public aware this place is a SCAM! I had such high hopes for this haunted house. My family and I drove almost 2 hours to come visit and we were so excited. Upon arriving we were greeted with an extremely long line, which is expected for things like these. The line moved quickly and we entered the park reactively fast. But this email is about what we experienced inside the park or really what we DIDNT experience on this visit. The haunted houses were EMPTY and Im not referring to visitors, there were NO scare actors! We came to the decision there were at MAYBE MOST 2 actors in each house we entered. It felt like we were walking through a maze, and NOT a haunted one at that. The houses were NOT scary, the animatronics werent even on!!! Which one would feel would be the bare minimum for a place like this. We paid for all 6 houses and left after 3 because each time we left each house more disappointed aggravated than the last. EXTREMELY dysfunctional ,everyone visiting the park was upset. There was no food available, lines didnt exist, no purpose in paying for the speed pass bc NO ONE will look at your tickets anyway. BIG waste of money. I have tried emailing the park, calling, messaging on Instagram commenting on photos to hopefully come to some kind of resolve. Ive received no response or acknowledgment.Customer Answer
