We hired Shleppers to move my aunt's things from her studio apartment in ***************** to a storage facility across the river. The Schleppers team was prompt (came early), did a thorough job of inspecting the items, and then proceeded to kick some serious ****. They wrapped all the furniture, navigated the freight elevator and basement steps, and everything arrived as it should. When we had an issue at the moving facility they were super helpful and arranged for us to store our items overnight until we could get them into the facility the next morning. Amazing! Highly recommend them.******************

Schleppers was amazing! We had ***** and his team, and they were the best! My move was very last-minute and I had a LOT to move. The guys were very accommodating, they provided extra boxes for last-minute items, they set up my bed for me, were careful with my stuff, and were a delight to work with. So impressed with all 3 of our movers and how incredibly pleasant and professional they were. They packed our entire apartment efficiently but with care. It wasn't an easy job given it was a hot day in a 6 floor walk up but they managed so well. I had a lot of glassware and it all made it unscathed. I've read a lot of reviews from other companies describing how the movers will ******* more money or bigger tip out of you. Not these guys. They never asked for the tip (which we obviously gave them for doing a wonderful job). Will continue to use and recommend Shleppers for any move in the future!Shleppers Moving & Storage

I am using Shleppers for the third time in a month. As a repeat customer, I can say that they are responsive, have very fare pricing for moving (and storage) and have been careful with both my items and the buildings I have moved in and out of. We had a wonderful experience with our recent move with Shleppers. Getting the quote was a breeze and when we had to add more items to the manifest closer to the move, there was no issue and no big price increase. The team were punctual and took great care with the items at our old home and moving to the new home. Shleppers sets themselves apart from other companies by arriving in person and providing an accurate assessment of my moving needs and a hard quote (as opposed to some other companies who only provided a virtual and possibly tentative quote). On the morning of my move, the movers were on time and incredibly hard-working. They demonstrated expertise in packing and were extremely careful to wrap my brand new furniture carefully to ensure it's safe arrival at my new apartment. They seem to have this moving thing down to a science , and the entire time they were packing up my belongings they were courteous and wanted to make sure that I was happy with their services. Everything went off without a hitch, and I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs a moving service. You will can be confident that you are with experts, and that they will do their best to ensure a perfect move!Shleppers Moving & Storage

1 starTHE WORST MOVES OF OUR LIVES. Do not trust Shleppers with your goods.We have taken photos of all the damaged and broken items and labeled the photos.This has been the worst move of my life! I have moved ten times, five of them whole houses with all of our belongings. I had one piece of furniture damaged in those moves, and nothing else!!! All fragile/breakable items were wrapped in paper and surrounded by corrugated cardboard. They were packed together without other heavy objects that could damage them. This move was completely different. The most horrendous damage was to an antique replica bureau that had a leg (not a fragile leg) broken off, and then someone screwed it back on with metal screws and plates, ruining it further. You cannot do something like that without advising us!! They also damaged the leg of a bedroom dresser, which is so broken that if it is moved, it will break off. Most of the wood furniture has deep and superficial scratches. They packed ceramic plates we collected from trips in different countries in light paper with heavy metal objects, which were broken into pieces. They put highly breakable small objects in boxes with other heavy objects, and nothing was wrapped; they just put them in a box, and so many items were chipped and broken. All of the framed photos I had on my bedroom bureau of my childrens birth, wedding, and milestone pictures cushion, none of which were wrapped. The remaining 14 framed art pieces were unwrapped in one box so that almost everyone was badly nicked and scratched. These are the worst. You can review the photos to see the rest of the damage.We were told that you would look for our missing belongings, but we have not heard back from Schleppers since I reported these incidents by phone. It is an understatement to say we are disappointed with how our possessions were treated and the damage they incurred. They have not even acknowledged that they cant find it. We are devastated!
