I signed up to be part of their Shopify Collaboration, where I'd promote the product and offer a discount to my audience with a personalized code. My commission was $10 for every sale with my code, I had over 200 sales with my code in 30 days. 30 days is their holding period, pending any returns. Today makes it payday from them. They canceled my Collaboration and did not compensate me for my work in return gained them sales.

    Business Response

    Date: 11/07/2023

I hope this message finds you well. I would like to address the concerns you've raised in your recent communication.

First and foremost, we take our partnership agreements and program terms seriously, and we would like to clarify that your participation in our Ambassador program was contingent on your adherence to the specific terms and conditions outlined in the agreement. As stated in our Ambassador program terms:

1.All sales driven by Ambassadors must be from Ambassadors direct channels (e.g., social media, content production, blogs, personal website, etc). Any sales driven from non-owned or non-direct channels will forfeit commission.

    2. Ambassador discounts are strictly prohibited from posting on coupon aggregator websites. If a discount is found on a coupon aggregator, all commission will be forfeit with potential removal from the program.

In your case, our team conducted a thorough analysis of the traffic generated through your Ambassador code and found that almost all of the sales originated from coupon aggregator websites, a direct violation of our terms. We must emphasize that this goes against our Ambassador program terms and resulted in the forfeiture of commission, as explicitly mentioned in our terms.

During our analysis, our team found that your social media presence, particularly on Instagram and TikTok, have 5 followers and ***** followers respectively - this is what caused our team to research your traffic and "sales" further, at which point our team found that all sales originated from coupon aggregator websites. Social media, email and other forms of direct communication with your audience are the only channels specified in our agreement for the promotion of our products. Your actions, which included leaking your code on coupon aggregator websites, go against the core principles of our partnership and were explicitly prohibited.

Our Ambassador program was designed to support and nurture the All Citizens community, where we share exciting product updates with our Ambassadors, and they, in turn, create content to share our brand and products. This program embodies a symbiotic partnership that encourages our most passionate advocates, our Ambassadors, to share our brand and directly earn commissions for their invaluable contribution to our brand's expansion. Our program is not built for leaking coupons to websites that poach revenue from our business.

Regrettably, due to the breach of the terms and the subsequent loss of revenue from the 200 orders, we had no choice but to cancel your collaboration and cancel compensation, as stated in our terms. It is our responsibility to protect the integrity of our program and uphold the agreements we have in place.

We also want to address your dissatisfaction with our actions on social media and your attempt to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. We believe it is essential to communicate openly and honestly, but it is equally important to ensure the accuracy of the information presented. We are confident that our decision is in line with the terms you agreed to when joining our program, and as such, we stand firmly behind our decision to remove you from our Ambassador program for promoting our products in channels (coupon aggregator websites) which go against our program policies.

We hope this message clarifies our position and the actions taken in response to your complaint on BBB. We genuinely value our partnerships and hope that we can find an amicable resolution that aligns with our mutually agreed terms. Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any further questions or require additional clarification.

I did not leak the coupon code and if it was leaked then I had no knowledge of it being leaked. Did those 200+ sales not generate you money? I spent money to run ads. So either you pay me back for money spent on ads or you pay me what my commission was promised for each sale.

The day I was suppose to be paid out is when my collab partnership ended. I was under the impression I would be getting compensated. However the day I was owed I no longer was part of the collab. If the system that detects codes being used from aggretator sites is as good as you say, I feel you would have discovered this way before the 30 day holding period, especially since most of the sales were done within the first week of me posting my videos. Oh well, I'm not greedy. So you can take the money and shove it. But you lost a potential customer. I've spent a lot of money on brands that work for me. These underwear worked for me but I refuse to buy in the long run. Good luck.

    Hi ****,

The system that traces the original of the traffic and sale recognizes traffics from coupon aggregators immediately - the 30 day delay is caused by our team reviewing the system's recommendations. We have a very small team so we only get to this once every few weeks.

Sorry to lose you as a customer, but we understand and respect your decision.
