    On May 27, 2025, I initiated communication with Mytek Audio to inquire about their Liberty DAC upgrade program. After verifying my eligibility, I agreed to the offer and sent a payment of $795 via Zelle, as instructed. Mytek confirmed receipt of the payment on May 28 and provided a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) for my original unit.I promptly shipped my Liberty DAC back to their designated address and provided a **** tracking number confirming delivery on Monday, June 2, 2025.Since then, I have received no further communication regarding the promised shipment of the upgraded Liberty DAC II unit. Despite multiple follow-ups, Mytek has failed to respond or provide any confirmation or timeline.Given the significant financial outlay and the surrender of my original unit, this lack of response is deeply concerning. It now appears that Mytek has failed to honor their agreement, and I have neither the product I paid for nor the equipment I returned. I suspect this may constitute a fraudulent transaction.

    Customer ordered an upgrade of Liberty DAC which required him to ship the original unit back to manufacturer (us, Mytek). We have received this unit at the end of the day on Mon May2, *****.  His original unit has been  inspected to confirm it is in good shape which was confirmed by the technician on Thursday. Then a dropship the new version of the unit called Liberty DAC II was requested by us with our factory. Factory prepared the shipment on Fri 5/6. The unit has been dropshipped to the client (*** *******) via ***** with tracking nr ************. ********************************************************************************************

    We believe this has been handled within a reasonable timeframe and we wish the customer has shown more patience since the purchase included exchange of old unit and the whole process took less than a week. Sincerely , Mytek Support

    on 11/18/2022 I paid by ****** for upgrade for Mytek *************** 2 that since then has never sent the device, for last 6 months to one year has not return phone call, e-mails every two weeks, tried contact with their support that did not answer and left text message. My complaints are similar stories with the other complaints they would not have the items avalaible but I am on a list that you are next to get it. On the web page still shows the items are present but my hifi store I use Saturday Audio Exchange store was not able to get it either and the Saturday Exchange Audio store company will no longer with them that at all.     I pre-ordered Myteks Brooklyn Bridge II steaming device on 3/14/2022, order number *******, and paid a $1,495 deposit. As of the time of this complaint, I have not received the promised unit. I also ordered one of their Amplifiers Plus on a special sale that included free cable bundles valued at $500. I received the amplifier but never received the cables. I have contacted their customer service via email numerous times to try to resolve both of these issues and they have not been resolved. I also spoke with the owner of the company on June of 2022 and he assured me that both of this issues would be resolved. I have sent numerous emails to Mytek customer service and sales about the open orders and have not received any reply. In July of 2024 I sent an email to Mytek sales requesting to cancel the order for the streaming device and receive a full refund to the same card to which the original purchase was made. I have received no reply, and no refund. The Brooklyn Bridge II product is prominently displayed for sale on Myteks website, and also available via third-party distributors. Why isnt Mytek honoring its commitment to early customers that gave them cash up front which essentially has turned into an interest free loan? I still want a refund because at this point, I really dont want to do business with this company anymore.

    On 4/8/2022, I purchased an upgrade for my *************** DAC to the *************** 2. I was told that there was a supply chain problem and that it was delayed. I have sent many emails asking for updates, called the owner, ****** ********, and even met him in person at a headphone convention. I was promised it would be shipped many times, but Mytek has stopped returning my emails and calls. Its been over 2 years and giving up on the company.

    I placed an order for a ******************** *************** II in March of 2022. It was not shipping at that time but I received confirmation that my pre-order was #** on the priority list. I received a few emails indicating production delays but the last one was Jan 10, 2023 indicating that it would be shipping shortly and in view of the delay I would be receiving an upgraded unit. Since then I have had no further e-mails and my emails have gone unanswered. I have phoned several times and when I get through to the owner he has said three times there have been delays but you unit should be shipping in the next week or so. This was the the case earlier this spring and this is why my claim is more that a year since the order was placed. More recent calls have received no answer. At this point I have given up and would like a refund. Note credit card this was charged to has been changed.

    I pre-ordered one of Mytek's products on 3/14/2022, the ******************, which was an update of a product I had purchased from them previously (*************** I). The offer was to get a discount for swapping my current product for the new one - the total paid was $1,495. At first, the company was very transparent about delays due to Covid, but then they began to promise delivery times and not deliver. I have dozens of emails I can share; I also spoke with owner several times where he would state that I'm on the list and it would be drop shipped imminently. The last inbound correspondence was 9/26/2023, noting that delivery was promised by October 8. That date has come and gone and it was the last time I heard from Mytek. I've provided a copy of my receipt, which shows how much I paid and that I was the 76th person to order, and an example email chain between me and Mytek. There have been multiple other emails and phone calls but have received no response for the majority of those.

    I ordered an audio equipment (DAC) *************** II on January 3, 2020, order #********** and they have not delivered anything yet.Initially they ask for patience because of the supply chain affected by the pandemic but then, they stopped answering emails.

    The customer, *****************************, has ordered an upgrade to an existing Mytek audio product (music streamer *************** upgraded to *************** 2). Delivery of this upgrade was very delayed because of the supply chain and design challenges. The upgrade is shipping now in August but the customer decided to ask for refund of the original $1995 payment. The refund was completed on Aug 3, 2023 via paypal as requested by customer, the customer has received the refund.     I am writing to respectfully request your assistance in resolving a dispute with Mytek, a company located in *************. As a consumer living in *********, I have exhausted all avenues for resolving this issue and am now turning to your organization as my last resort.I sent a premium grade *** to Mytek's official repair center in November 2022 due to a malfunction, and I received a repair code on November 29, 2022. However, upon sending the faulty unit back to their ** repair center via DHL, Mytek did not acknowledge receipt until I chased for a response on December 8, 2022.After a prolonged repair process, I paid $450 before the repair on February 5, 2023. However, upon receiving the repaired unit returned on February 18, 2023, I discovered that the *** was still faulty, despite ***** channels working. The unit exhibited no L/R panning and no analog Line In signals.After several attempts to contact Mytek, I had a video call with ****** (I think its the **** on March 22, 2023, and showed him the problem over live video. ****** agreed to swap a good unit in about 10 days. However, I did not receive any return label as promised, and after several attempts to contact ******, he finally replied on May 10, 2023, stating that he did not have my address in their database, despite the fact that the faulty unit was shipped to me after it was repaired, and therefore, they must have had my address on file. That made me to suspect he was not going to take the responsibility because I am very far away.As a responsible consumer, I have done everything in my power to resolve this issue, including contacting Mytek's CEO and engaging in video calls with their manager. However, despite their promises to remedy the situation, there has been no action taken to resolve the issue. I am now turning to your organization for assistance in resolving this matter.I have sent many mails and whatsapp messages. Although it seems a solution reached, it never happened. Waiting for so long, on 23 May, I email him again for his attention, and listed very clear of the facts and his promise:1) Nov 20 2022, I started to contact you according to your official repair centre about the malfunction of my Brooklyn ***+.2) Nov 29 2022, I received *********** code: RMA-RR-**-2022-11-****** 3) Dec 8 2022, the failure *** arrived at your ** repair centre which I was sent by DHL, but you did not acknowledge receipt until I chased for a response 4) Feb 5 2023, I paid $450 to proceed to repair 5) Feb 18 2023, I received the repaired unit and discovered the *** is faulty, despite ***** channels working. In particular, No L/R panning, No analog Line In signals.6) Mar 22 2023, After chasing your response and frustration, ****** and I had a video call and showed the problem described over live video. ****** has agreed to swap a good unit in about 10 days.7) Mar 27 2023, ****** replied that he will be sending a Return Label. However, nothing happened nor response whatsoever after this date. Very frustrated.8) May 10 2023, After chasing ****** for over a month, ****** said he did not have my address in their database. I replied to him immediately. I hope your organization to investigate this matter and urge Mytek to honour their promise timely and satisfactory manner. I am willing to provide any supporting documentation or evidence that *** be required to support my complaint.As a consumer, I have paid a significant amount of money for Mytek's products, and I believe that I am *********** receive a good working unit and satisfactory post-sale service.     *************** emailed me for an exchange arrangement on 2 August. Due to discontinued item, he will replace my faulty item with another similar model. I am totally fine with the arrangement. However, he said he will follow up and come back with the Return Label, but I haven't heard from him since his email. I have emailed him just now for reminder. I hope he can proceed asap.     Better Business Bureau:

    On 2 Aug, I recevied ****** (Mytek) email offering me a swap replacement. He said he will replace with another later model because he doesn't have my model anymore. He also said he will come back with Return Label for exchange. However, I have not heard from him since then, I emailed him again to follow up but no reply whtsoever. This is the SECOND time he said the same arrangement. He promised once in July, but no reply ever since until I filed to BBB. I felt very frustrated and insulted. He also insulted BBB when **************** (my previous Complaint Analyst who I had spoken to) no longer following this up. And now, I have no idea who is my CA. 

    I have already provided above with details and email records in my last update. Unless I missing any communications, I have reasons to believe Mytek is intended to ignore their responsibilites by playing through the complaint processes, and eventually reaching the case-close and walk-away. PLEASE HELP. I know you have many cases to resolve, but I have spent substantial price on this and I am living too far away, otherwise I would rather give it up.

    Spoke with ****** and ***************************** at Mytek Digital they promised if I placed a Pre-Order I would have merchandise in 6-7 weeks that promise made April 2021. IN light of this promise I ordered (2) *************** 2's a $4244 payment received via PayPal to Mytek Digital April 28, 2021 The original promised delivery date came & went without receiving paid merchandise Mytek Digital made new promises of delivery in 4-6 weeks this continued for over year now I have now made (5) written requests for refund of my money Owner ***************************** had lied to me several times, and he continues to refuse to refund my money These are VERY DISHONEST people I simply want my money returned classic case of NON DELIVERY of merchandise
