    This business attempted to defraud my insurance company using my name and information on 10/07/2024. The amount was for ******* Thankfully the insurance company denied the claim asking for more information. There was a data breach with my insurance company. I like many others need to get the word out about this.

    SNKL Services New York fraudulently charged my health insurance/*** for durable medical equipment which I don't require. I haven't paid anything I don't think but they are trying to scam my insurance company.

    On 10/07/2024, I recieved an explanation of benefits from my medical insurance company, ***, that a company named SNKL Services Corp had made a charge against my insurance for $6,600 for medical supplies. I have never heard of this business nor have I ordered any medical supplies. I was informed by my insurance provider that this is a "phantom charge". *** launched an investigation but recommended I report it to the BBB.

    **** service corp billed my health insurance and I have never used their service. I do not even live in the state this company is located. Their claim number was ***********. They billed my insurance $6,420.00 using a made up account number of *********. I want them investigate and penalized for fraud. My insurance paid this fraudulent charge on 8/27/24.

    My health insurance provider, *************** (*****************************************) sent an Explanation of Benefits notice to me (rcvd 8/16/24) regarding a new claim that was filed against my health insurance for services supposedly provided on 7-15-24, by SNKL SERVICES CORP. The claim amount was for $4680.00 for either services/equipment. I nor anyone in my family have had services provided by them. Further, none of us have or have ever had treatment for the conditions reported in the claim. We live in *********. This business is in ********. The claim is either filed in error or is fraudulent. I have tried reaching them directly at the number my insurer provided *************) to resolve but have not received a response. I am looking to get this claim corrected and removed from my policy. My insurer has indicated that this must be resolved directly with the business and that they (insurer) cannot remove without the business initiating. Neither I or my insurer have paid any money to this company.
