  SNKL Services billed a former insurance company for services. Received and EOB from a prior insurance company that I haven't been a subscriber to for over 2 years. I have never used SNKL Services nor had any prior service with this company. They billed my prior insurance company 6,600 for a 9/30/24 service date. My prior insurance company denied the claim. I called the insurance company and filed a fraud complaint.

  Today, Oct 10, 2024, I received an *** from my insurance company. I became immediately suspicious when I read the date of treatment, Sep 18, 2024, because I've not needed health care recently. My Patient responsibility shows as $312. The total billing is for $6,240. The Provider's name is SNKL SERVICES CORP. Unable to determine what this was for, I called the insurance company. I learned that the services in the claim were for bandages and gauze. Simply put, this is either a fraudulent claim or a mistake. After a quick ****** check of the company name, I found the top link is to the BBB. The second is the company and I clicked on it. Under the official-looking header are various photos of women dressed in a way that is starkly contrary to a business that sells healthcare products. The phone numbers I have go directly to voicemail and do not have a greeting that includes the company name. Additionally, I live in a state far across the country from ********, **.

  This company is a fraud. They billed my medical insurance company for medical supplies totaling $6420.00. I was not at any medical facility nor did I receive any medical services or supplies of any kind. I have reported them to my insurance company. I am wondering if this is a result of the cyber attack and patients data was stolen and now this "fraudulent company" is creating false bills.
