On 2/8/25 placed an order for four Alamba Shakes concert tickets at ********* in ****** CO. Seated *** has a pre-sale autobuy feature. They will buy the pre-sale tickets ahead of the pre-sale date. If the request could not be honored, it is clear that the buyer would be notified PRIOR to the actual presale time/date to permit the buyer to buy tickets through *** directly. Tickets went on sale at 10 am MST on 2/11/25. I received notification at 10:13 am MST on 2/11/25 that Seated, *** could not honor the autobuy request I placed. This was AFTER the actual presale time. When I went to *** to purchase tickets, all tickets were sold out. I would have been in the queue well before 10 AM MST on 2/11/25 if I had not be provided the impression that my tickets had been secured by Seated****** Seated, *** failed to honor the notification promise as detailed in this transaction. This app prompted me to use it to book reservations at restaurants with the promise of a credited percentage of my restaurant bill. As such, I made several reservations at restaurants I would not have otherwise gone to, and earned a $45 balance to use as store credit at several retailers Seated partnered with.Today, for no reason at all, my account was terminated and I was told my balance was forfeited (see screenshots). I am very confused as just last night I was prompted by Seated to upload my credit card statement proving I dined at a particular restaurant (see screenshot). I did as directed, and now my account is gone. Was this a scam to get my personal information? I feel deceived and mislead by this business and need a full refund for the $45 balance they removed from my account.Business Response

I am filing a complaint against Seated Inc. for the unauthorized removal of my earned cashback funds without justification. Seated Inc. operates an app where users can choose restaurants and earn cashback as a reward for their patronage. I have been an active user of their app and accumulated a significant amount of cashback, estimated to be between $100 and $165, which was supposed to be redeemable for gift cards.Recently, when I opened the app to redeem my earned cashback for a gift card, I was shocked to find that my cashback funds had disappeared. The option to redeem the cashback for gift cards was still available, but my hard-earned money was inexplicably taken away. I immediately contacted Seated Inc.'s customer service department to rectify the situation.Despite my numerous attempts to resolve this issue with their customer service, they have refused to return my cashback funds or provide any justifiable reason for their actions. They have failed to address my concerns adequately and have not offered any acceptable resolution.I am deeply disappointed by Seated Inc.'s unfair treatment and their refusal to honor the cashback rewards that were rightfully earned through my patronage. I purchased tickets for a concert with a refund deadline. I was aware of this when the tickets were purchased, but when extenuating circumstances intervened, I was no longer able to attend. I submitted a refund request before the deadline but did not get a response until afterwards, saying that because it was beyond the deadline I was not eligible for a refund. These tickets are will call only and are very difficult to sell online and I absolutely cannot attend the event any longer.Business Response

All sales through Seated are final and this information is included in your order receipt and available when accessing our refund policy on our customer support portal.

We appreciate you getting back to us. We can confirm that you requested a refund for this event more than a month after the sales had ended after reviewing your order history once more. In accordance with our refund policy, which is detailed on our support portal and on your order receipt, we are unable to offer refunds once sales have been closed and finalized.
Prior to the performance, fans can always give or sell their will call tickets. You received instructions on how to do this from us, along with advice on how previous fans have succeeded.
As the sales for this show were finalized back in February and it played off a the end of June we are unable to issue a direct refund. Please take care and feel free to reach out to ********************************** with any further questions you may have about our refund policy.Customer Answer

Seated is an application that is used to receive rewards at restaurants. You get cash back that is saved within the app. Recently, Seated changed their terms so that rewards expire after 90 days of inactivity, though users were never asked to accept this change in terms. Users were notified right before the change took place over email, however the app sends push notifications about deals frequently. They purposefully did not notify users this way because they knew that users would not see the email. They did not do their due diligence as a company. They now refuse to reinstate my rewards despite the fact that I never agreed to their change in terms and these rewards were gained before the change took place.
