  I strongly advise against using Atlas Debt Relief. When I enrolled, I was quoted one set of fees, but they ended up taking significantly more money than originally promised. Every time I called to question the discrepancies, I was met with evasive answers and dismissive, gaslighting behavior. Instead of offering support, they added stress to an already difficult financial situation. In my experience, this company exploits people who are already vulnerable. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

  Fraudlent company. Ask for help in november, 2023 until now, oct 2024 any resolution only withdrowing money from my cheking account every mo.

  I'm with the other reviews here! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I REPEAT DO NOT USE THEM!!!!!
  They are absolutley scammers and are doing fraudulent business. After over a year of making on-time payments to this company I had paid over $7000 to them for 2 debts I had used their services on. When I called in to get an idea where my account was and knowing that one of the debts should have been close to being paid off, I asked them to break down the financials. Out of the over $7000 I paid to them, only $1300 was in the escrow to pay the creditor! NOT EVEN 1/3 OF THE MONEY I PAID TO THEM WENT TO FIXING THE DEBT. HOW DO I PAY $6000 To a company that didn't do ANYTHING.
  I want to know how to go about suing this company for their faulty practices and procedures. This is an EXTREMELY PREDATORY service and working with them has caused me far more financial trouble than having dealt with the debt myself!

  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! TOTAL SCAM!! I enrolled to their program a year ago and this company neglected one of the creditor and went to litigation. Their agents lie!! They claimed I didn't call to settle the agreement asking for additional funds I cannot afford. I explained why I couldn't make the extra payment but somehow they left that one account to resolve in litigation. Then when I was trying to cut ties with their business, this lady representative asked me to lie on the recording saying that I declined to get attorney's help when in fact ******** ******** was so hard to reach. I couldn't get any support, no one was returning my call, claiming I spoke to a Nicole (don't know Nicole), and each time I call it goes straight to voicemail. Atlas representative, I wish I caught her name, went ballistic on the phone, over voicing me, and not letting me speak was just the cherry on top. Not only they lie, they are not helpful, and they want you to record lies for them to cover their ***. Please do not sign up with these monsters. I've cut ties with them and willing to pay what I owed with the creditors.

  Total scam company exploiting vulnerable consumers. Promised to have my debt resolved quickly and then I heard nothing for over 6 months while they continued to withdraw payments from my bank account. Credit card company offered me a settlement in writing. I told Atlas to accept and they advised me against offer. Credit card company sold my debt to a collection agency! Atlas then sent me an offer to settle for $600 more than the credit card company. Then they charged me an additional 25% fee on top of the settlement amount. My contract was supposed to end in August, now they said that their “contract” was just an “estimate” and that I need to pay another $1609 for 2 more months! ?? They won’t accept a check for payments, want to automatically deduct from your bank account. DO NOT believe anything they say. They are a fraudulent business and will cheat you out of $. You are much better off to negotiate directly with your credit card companies on your own!

  I didn't hang this company since June of 2023. They told me it would be 5 to 6 months before I began to see resolution to my debt. You have been well over the year. They have settled only 9% of my debt. But they have taken 25% for their own fee plus other fees. And the most recent settlement author that came up with saved me nothing and was actually more than the enrolled debt after the total of the 12 payments that they proposed. I have been hung up on my customer service representatives. Today I requested an actual accounting of all fees plus the balance in my account. The customer service rep couldn't give me that information and ultimately I closed my account. I have never missed the payment with him I have kept up my end of the bargain and I feel that they have taken advantage of me. I will be handling my accounts on my own now without their help as I close my account with them. I think it is outrageous that companies like these can take a 25% commission before these counts are even settled. I think their business practices are sketchy, their customer service is terrible, their website is a restrictive with the infinite from it provides me and every time I go in to add funds to the account I am unable to do so. Nothing about this company is working right and I want other consumers to be aware before they engage with this company. Some of the monthly payments that were supposed to be made were not made on time and I have had to deal with my creditors myself.

  Fraudulent company. Withdrew multiple amounts from the bank account not paying a cent to credit cards.

  Credit now destroyed. They have done nothing. Won't answer phone calls, or e-mail. I spent considerable time with them on the phone and going over their fraudulent contract. I only lost the initial $50, but have lost my credit because of these evil people.

  I enrolled in 3/23. 12 creditors. 5 are in pre-settlement with 2 of them telling me they have had NO CONTACT from *****. There are 2 active payment plans. There is 1 offer that has been under review for over 6 months. I was sued in July 2023 by 1 creditor. ***** assigned case to *******.
  I have called ****, my attorney 5 times and all I get is she has contacted them but has not heard back. One rep of ***** (her name is Nicole) told me that once there is a lawsuit, ***** stops negotiating with my creditors. The next rep I talked to said that isn’t true. The credit cards (2) that we kept have now been closed by the creditors because of our “bad credit” We were never told this might happen. The late fees on the unpaid debt have now amounted to a years worth. We can’t move forward with our lives because of the bad credit. We can’t back out because of the additional debt from late fees. If I try to settle the debt in litigation I will have to pay court cost and lawyers fees as well as the mounting unpaid debt. I have left three (3) messages to speak to a manager with no return call. The last rep said I was rude and mean and hung up because I asked her to stop reading to me from her “script” and connect me to a supervisor. They are ruining my life and my marriage is hanging by a thread because of the tension this has caused. I realize the was my own doing and I have no to blame for this, but how do I resolve it I can’t even talk to anyone but the women who answer the phones. SideNote: The rep who signed us up for this and said we could contact him at any point during the program (RJ S*****) is missing in action. His phone number no longer works.
