      Was doing business on *** ******** ave eating valentine’s day dinner with my girlfriend as my car got towed by riverside towing and recovery. I contacted the number on the sign they stated i couldn’t do anything about my vehicle until the following morning at 10am (this call took place at 8:30pm). They charged me $250 for the tow, this parking lot is city enforced (by buffalo NY) which means it’s a municipal tow and riverside must abide by city regulated pricing and not private lot fees. City regulated pricing is $130 for night hookup and 7 per mile, with a $20 storage fee. they drove my car 4.2 miles from the tow spot, at most the tow should’ve costed $179 plus nys tax. they also only accepted cash and paid no tax on the money i gave them as shown on the recipe, asked for a itemized recipe as well and they declined and wouldn’t give my girlfriend a recipe and gave me a recipe after i threatened to call law enforcement.

      Towing company is open for the lawful minimum hours. I cannot access my vehicle and my appointment to pick up my vehicle is being rescheduled due to doing more tows because no one is available at the office. Buffalo city law requires a minimum opening time from 9am-5pm monday-friday.Duplicate complaint:Company claims to only have office open from 11-3 for vehicle pick up and rescheduled my pickup for noon to 1 o'clock. Buffalo city law requires a minimum pick up availability from 9am-5pm Monday -Friday. I have video proof of them saying this but thats not an acceptable upload format
