      We hired Square Deal Movers who caused damage to our property and personal items. We were told that we needed to file a claim for insurance by providing a written statement and photos. In addition to this they charged for extra hours of service, the guys inside apologized for their company and even warned us about their neglect. We submitted everything immediately. It is 1 month ago today and they have yet to do anything to resolve the situation. When we call they saw we have 4 months to deal with this. Meanwhile we have had to pay for property damages before the closing of our house. Please help us.

      This company packed my moving truck. I hired them because of their guarantee over their work and that their employees were insured.

      We moved across the country, from NY to GA. When we unloaded the truck, we found 2 bookcases completely collapsed, a broken foot off an antique piano, a crushed box labeled fragile with glass powder all over everything (glasses were crushed and the powder went everywhere), as well as other damaged items. I filed a complaint with the company asking for compensation for the ruined bookshelves and other items the same week we unloaded the truck. These damaged and ruined items were due to the way the truck was packed. Heavy boxes loaded on top of an antique piano with zero extra support, heavy items on top of bookcases with zero interior support, etc.

      2.5 months later, and they have given me no indication of compensation. They have broken their guarantee and my trust. They do not return my phone calls. I've emailed and called every week since the move and occasionally I get a one line email asking me for some random piece of information with zero update about the complaint or my reimbursement.

      Damaged furniture from Tennyson Ave to Century drive . Furniture broken chairs 100$ vase , bed destroyed , broken tv screen , broken glass coffee table . The list goes on . I wish to get reimbursement from this move or I will take it up with the attorney general’s office. This is an outrage . I expect full compensation form the moving company . Incompetent workers who didn’t rep the items didn’t give a shit and broke very important items of mine in my daughters.
