      Chinese Raw Peeled Garlic Prices (5lbs) have skyrocketed due to tariffs ($16 to $25), which is fine. But Restaurant depot decided to print stickers labeled PRD GARLc ASN and stick it over *********** Ranch product barcodes which are grown in ********** for the sole purpose of justifying charging an extra $5 per 5 LBS bag... the regular barcode scans at $19.99, but with the added label it is $24.99... that is simply dirty business

      On 11-07-24, purchased a box of ****** Classic Baklava from Restaurant **** in *********, **. On 11/12/24 went to return it as we did not even touch it for the event it was purchased. Was told they can not take it back, as it is a perishable item. By the way, the receipt does say, perishables must be returned within 72 hours. However, the box or package purchased has a sell by date of 03/24/25. My question of how could an item be considered perishable, when it is stored/sold on the main floor with no refrigeration and based on date on the package has a self life of at least five months. This could NOT be answered and still refused to take the product back for credit.

      So I don't really talk trash on people but my mom just talked to me about her experience at Restaurant Depot in *************... about the manager or whatever status you are Mr.*****... you had no right to yell at my mother or call her a liar or talk about the Mexican race. What fault does my mother have that you people at Restaurant Depot did not change the prices at your store?! My mom went in to buy the inventory we need. When it was her turn in line to pay, your prices that were ringing up were not matching what you had advertised at the store...So she asked the young lady at the register why it was ringing up at a higher price than what was shown on the sales floor? The young lady wasn't sure so she told my mom to go and take a picture and they would adjust it.... my mother went and took the picture came back and showed the cashier. THEN she called over I'm guessing the manager ***** to make the price adjustment... ***** dared to say that these MEXICANS just take pictures of the lower prices and keep them and share..Look here sir.. MY MOTHER is a HARD WORKING LADY!!! SHE HAS THE MONEY TO PAY WHATEVER SHE WANTS!!! My mom was in shock and she approached you after she paid and told you, *****, that she can show you what time she took the picture. You yelled at her and belittled her infront of other customers... why am I typing this.. well because I'm beyond mad that I wasn't there to defend my MOTHER. It don't matter what race you are there are thiefs every where. But my MOTHER is not one of them. I don't care if you were having a bad day at work or whatever but you don't treat your customers like that!! As a busines owner I have my bad days but I NEVER take it out on customers or make racial comments!! Restaurant Depot you need to educate your staff more or be careful on who you hire! My mother deserves an apology from the way ***** treated her today.

      Our team spoke with the person that submitted the review on behalf of their mother as well as the branch personnel who were present. The branch personnel recalled this incident and that that the customer took a photo to show the item price. In accordance with company policy, however, the branch had to verify the price themselves before making any adjustment. After doing that, and making the price adjustment for the customer, the customer yelled at the branch manager for not accepting their photo as proof. We regret if the customer interpreted the branch's price check as anything other than following company policy.

      I think restaurant Depot is scamming the customers. They have a policy with Instacart that once you purchase something on Instacart, if there is a problem with the products , it becomes an INSTACART issue. No responsibility for selling Instacart rotten food, no exchanges for the rotten products. Nothing! Also, Restaurant Depot sold me products through INSTACART at three times the amount of what they scan in the store. Restaurant depot is SWITCHING what you purchase online through INSTACART for a lesser quantity and quality amount upon delivery. And then take no responsibility for the scamming the customer . Is this legal?

      When customers purchase items on Instacart.com, customer service is provided by Instacart. Instacart provides excellent customer service but had no record of being contacted by this customer. We asked Instacart to reach out to the customer and Instacart provided a full refund.

      I have trying to get my sales tax retuned as I was told by them to furnish sellers lusence and it will returned Also in the meantime I had a BOE audit for last 3 years and the representative told me how I was paying sales tax which be returned I already emailed them 3 times talked only once to a person as they never return or answer calls In spite of waiting 4 months no reply to emails from the account **** *********************** restaurant 520 *************************** 310 *********

      Any branch manager in our warehouse is able to resolve this issue. We're not sure where ************** called or emailed, but we certainly apologize for any delay in responding. Once ************** provided his tax documentation to **, his local branch manager was able to expedite the process of issuing a credit for the taxes.

      I was shopping on 1/16/23 at 10 am where I seen the cashiers on front fighting with customer and they was threatened he's life and asking hem to come out side while store manager and security watching and honestly I now the place is bad and dangerous but not life threatening dangerous so for me personally I'm not going there No more .. I just want to leave the review so busnisse owner **** me now about this thing and it's not first time I seen customer getting attack by resturant ********************** employees for coming to spend they money ????Becarfull out there
