This company is unbelievable. They consistently send emails and make videos asking to invest but rarely send an explanation of what's going on, and a simple statement of Seymor has taken full responsibility with, ya your right to be upset, please invest!!! **** makes a video you will have vochers by a certain date, but nothing 9 months later. No email updates unless its to invite you to an invest with us video. I could easily afford to invest, BUT WOULDN'T. If they are so good, why not ontop of the scam magbuk thing do they not also offer those who ALREADY invested our products and some stock to say WERE sorry, I think I'm going to make it a point to post here and other places EVERY week, that they ignore me, or tell something that is not going to happen, I used to enjoys Kates smile, now I hate it, so deceiving Oh and for a ************* they could make the web site and all the issues easy to navigate, but I feel they purposefully make it hard, if not impossible the sign of a scam, not saying this is a scam, I'm saying it has the circumstantial evidence of being a very sofistacted well planned long lasting one, as they keep asking for money And the voucher thing, I kind of get it, but at the same time why would I want to send them more money with such a poor track record of delivering anything .Its like Hey fool, give a little more. **** ha Now if I get the product and then pay them the additional 50% crappy deal, at least I know I'm getting the product first. The law is if you put a charge on your credit card and receive nothing, the credit card has to refund your money. SO keep good records I tried to post this with my order number, and not allowed. But there are many comments where Magfast replies with we took care of this, How do they know who is posting on here. Interesting. We are very sorry to hear you feel this way. We do understand you are frustrated about the delays in shipping your promised pre-ordered products.We are too and we regret this profoundly. As we related in our previous correspondence, MAGFAST went through some extreme challenges with our early charger Pro Kit line that took us within very close proximity to complete closure -the global shutdown due to the Covid pandemic being one of the most devastating. MAGFAST may have made mistakes along the way, but we are just a very small startup (with decent and dedicated people) who set ourselves a mammoth task to engineer six products simultaneously,and so the challenges add an extra layer of difficulty for us than they would for a large company with deep pockets. However, we agree this was a totally unacceptable pre-order experience. Due to feedback like this, we have discontinued accepting pre-orders as of March 2024. In the meantime, our company has begun undergoing a restructuring. During a livestream, attended by thousands of our customers, our CEO took full responsibility for past mistakes and introduced significant changes aimed at improving the our customers experience. My experience has been absolutely unacceptable. I emailed, requesting products purchased 4 years ago. First, automatic email replies stated that the products were still in production and would soon be mailed out. Then, auto replies to my inquiries claimed that preorders had begun to get mailed out. Email responses also mentioned production delays. Two years ago, the company claimed they were getting orders out as quickly as they could and they were requesting that customers invest more. When my order never arrived, I requested a refund and received another automatic reply stating the company would reach out to me soon, however Magfast does NOT reach out, other than "robo replies" that offer a "VOUCHER", that can only be used toward 50% of purchases made in the company's "STORE". Three OVERPRICED charging cables are all that's available for purchase in that "STORE". They don't appear to be any different than charging cables purchased from ******. My 100W charger was less, so it's apparent that this is a scam. Magfast is suggesting that the VOUCHER be put toward 50% of the purchase of the next generation of products, not yet created! It's ridiculous to expect me to double, at minimum, the price I already paid to place a new order for products that may or may not be better than what was originally labeled "AWESOME", and if the original claim were true, Magfast should have produced and delivered those. Weve always said this would be a long process. Crowdfunding as a small startup company comes with many challenges and, yes, sometimes, delays. Thats just the nature of the business. We explicitly say, in the presentation we require our supporters to watch before pre-ordering our products, that you should not support us if youre not in it for the long haul. The terms and conditions you have to agree to before placing a pre-order, lay out the risks in clear language. They put out these ads that says of we sign up, we'll receive around $180 of gift cards among other gifts. Big surprise it was all lies. Now they started spamming my email with their ads. We dont seem to have an account with you. The email you posted under is listed under a different name and zip code. Nevertheless wed like to address the false things you are saying. First, if you are receiving text messages from us, it means you signed up to receive them. Unsubscribing from our email list does not unsubscribe you from text messaging automatically and does take a few days to take effect. To unsubscribe from text messaging all you need to do is reply with STOP and you will be unsubscribed from texting. We did have a recent livestream event during which we gave away prizes, which we announced at the end of the event. We also offered an awesome $190.00 hotel and rental car discount voucher, to anyone who came to our event. Definitely a scam. Ordered in 2022, never have gotten anything other than requests to continue to invest and the latest greatest just around the corner BS. Don't send them a *****. The whole voucher thing where I need to spend double to get what I spent to begin with- I have $1,600 to spend an all they show are some cables? I ordered a pre order from Magfast in June of 2021. I have yet to receive the products, and have reached out numerous times, getting a plead to be patient. 1 starLike everyone else says, 0 stars. I ordered a number of USB cables 1 year and 3 months ago. I've been patient. The company says that they are a startup but they have taken everyone's money! Why does it take over a year to get usb cables made? They update the order status page status to "manufacturing" which has been like that for just about a year. There are no estimated dates. Chinese companies (good ones) can get this done in a few months. I should have went with ***** products and never bought from this company. I can't dispute the charge, they reply with 'busy' canned responses. This company seems to be run by 2 people who just took everyone's money and provide bogus updates. Stop having presentations and just make the **** products. If you're taking full responsibility, fulfill the **** orders or refund people! Oh, you can't refund people because you've spent it all. This company is a shame and a sham.
