      Called Accurate ** run by ******************* because one of our split systems on one side stopped blowing cool air. His son ****** came out on 7/4/23 but was unfamiliar with our specific system (which we were unaware of at the time). ****** said he used 14lbs of Freon that the system was empty, overcharged us which we paid in cash. The air wasnt blowing out cold yet but he said to shut off the system for a half an hour and let everything settle and then left after we paid him. That evening the ** still blowing out hot air, both ****** and **** were completely unreachable (which was disappointing considering they boast a 24 hour hotline) despite many calls. We have pets and two small children and had only one room that had a working ** (the other split system) in ***** weather. We called them multiple times and unfortunately the next morning after threatening to report his company to the BBB did **** finally return his call on 7/5/23. **** proceeded to curse at my husband, tell him he doesnt care if we report him or about reviews and that he knew where we lived (why say that as a business owner if thats not some kind of a threat??) and ultimately said that he would send someone by after we demanded he send someone else. After that we spoke to the son, ******, who said he was going to come back that day, that he only had one client this morning & that if he couldnt fix it he would refund us the full amount. That was around 10am. When ****** finally showed up at 9pm, he gave us this story that he will definitely refund us, h*** talk to his ************ talk to his dad, told us that his dad is a piece of work. Said he doesnt have access to the business funds so he cant actually refund us right now, but not to worry, h*** have his dad send us a cashiers check. ****** leaves again and because BBB has a character limit I will say that both **** and ****** are now saying they will not refund despite not fixing the ** at all. Please stay safe and avoid being scammed.
