Mr. Tire destroyed one of my tire pressure monitor sensors when they replaced my wheels and tires. They haphazardly tried to cover their tracks by gluing it back together, but inevitably they broke it. This cost me a $450 repair at a reputable repair shop. Not only are they putting me through hell to get in touch with them, but the customer service at the Monro Corporation (parent company) is so unhelpful and useless it makes my head spin. I strongly suggest avoiding Mr. Tire like the bubonic plague!Monro, Inc.

Sadly, I went to the location in Ballwin for years to service my vehicle. I had my tires replaced and they broke the tire sensors. They charged me multiple times to repair them claiming they were simply bad sensors… they never got them back to normal so I took my vehicle to another shop to get them fixed and they found a contaminate in my brake fluid line which had ruined my entire brake system. I confronted them about fixing the brakes and they refused… had to go to small claims court and they hired an attorney to battle against me.Monro, Inc.

I brought two ** ***** to Mr. Tire (1728 Fordham Blvd, Chapel Hill, NC) in April for simple oil changes. I supplied my own oil and filters—just needed labor. Neither vehicle had any oil leaks beforehand, and no one mentioned anything about a leak during the service.
Afterward, I noticed oil leaking from one of the cars (the Silver one). Took it back, was told there was no leak. Decided to check myself and found oil around the filter housing. A ** specialist confirmed the housing was cracked—cost me $1,173 to fix.
Shortly after, the other vehicle (the Blue one) showed similar issues. Same story—leaking oil after the same technician worked on it. The Manager at that location, Kenneth, told me the technician had been let go. They acknowledged that both cars had the same failure, but they still haven’t taken responsibility. I’ve been chasing them for weeks with no follow-up.
If something goes wrong here, don’t expect accountability. Still waiting on a proper resolution. Would not recommend.Monro, Inc.

Monro in Cobleskill New York are scammers. They charged me almost $1700 just to do tie rods. They did three hours of work in three days. They failed to tell me or explain why it was so much. And held my car hostage until I paid it. I have never paid that much for tie rods. and I have had several garages telling me that I shouldn’t have paid more than five to $600. So what did I pay for? I want my money back. And I want them held accountable.Monro, Inc.

On a trip home from Ohio, after a tire blow out on Route 29, ***** had a tow truck take my car to Mr. Tire in Ellicott City, MD. Kevin was the Manager. He explained my tire had a hole and the entire tire needed to be replaced. I told him my mechanic, another Mr. Tire employee near my home told me I would need to look at tires this summer. Kevin explained three of my tires were dry rotted. I was unable to reach my mechanic, so I did purchase four new tires.
Kevin told me the good tire that had been purchased in 2023 would be placed in my trunk for a spare. After arriving home, I realized the tire was not in my trunk. Kevin told me I had to find out the exact tire to help me, so I called and got that information, however he now refuses to call me back. I called the customer service number recommended and at first, they led me to believe they were going to help me, now they do not respond. Kevin did tell me if he could locate that tire, I could drive the four hours to pick it up, when I said you can send it to me, he said he would speak with the Divisional Director and get back to me, of course he never did. To make matters worse, the Mr. Tire I do business, my mechanic assured me that the tires were not dry rotted, being a ten year customer, he told me he would never have let me drive on such tires, they just wanted the sale and they could have easily fixed the flat, it is high unlikely the tire had a hole in it.Monro, Inc.

I’ve dealt with the customer service and they keep telling me the manager told them he resolved my issue when he hasn’t and now they won’t even speak to me, so that is a waste of time and it just goes to show the poor customer service that this company deliversReview fromAshley M

I am being charged for a slop job which they couldn’t even do the right way since now I have to have my brake booster and master cylinder replaced, along with getting a bolt to a battery bracket which THE TECHS snapped and didn’t even try to get it out or better yet advise me that I needed a battery but for some odd reason the battery in the car I had was the one I had since I had the car for less than a batteries lifespan, more so they upsold the battery and this is just a huge mess that even the own store doesn’t want to respond to because they have birdbrains turning on peoples cars wether they know what they’re doing. My vehicle since then has shit off on me because they weren’t efficient in fixing my sole problem which was my brake lines rusting out.Monro, Inc.

There should be an option for 0-0.5 stars. It would be more appropriate for this review.
The management in this particular facility are not working together regarding their customers. Buying tires online and having them delivered to your home and when to have them installed is only the customers decision. I bought TWO sets of tires from the same online tire company, at two different times in the last 2.5 years, and have never had an issue getting them installed. Anywhere I choose. As long as the sticker is still on the tires from the company. Took one set to have installed on one vehicle, of the two we own, and the cost was appropriately priced. So, I made an appointment for my wife to take our second vehicle and a different staff member gave her an outrageous quote to install them. That price is the cost of tires bought and installed by them at the time of service from them. After giving proven documentation of my visit with them and a detailed receipt, Mr. Phoenix O******- Store Manager, still refused to honor the same price. And when I called to talk to him at the store he told my wife, “I’m not answering the phone” and put me on hold without picking up the phone. I had not told her I was calling him either.
He then begun to ignore her standing there while she was talking to him and show him the picture I sent to her phone of my receipt. Im proud of my wife for not blowing up at him or causing a scene. But rest assured, this will not go unknown to their corporate office. “Customer is always right” is not what these companies honor any longer.Monro, Inc.
