Very good work done on initial installation, but warrenty support is very weak. We had numerous handles and locks become loose within 4 years. Company said we were "absuive" with the use of the windows. NOT sure what that means but we maiintain our home to a very high standard. Can't recommend for this reason and very high prices.

*****, while I'm thrilled to hear how happy you are with the initial installation, I'm disappointed to hear about your experience as a whole. I will get your comments to the management team to look into and we will do all we can to earn back your trust and resolve any outstanding issues. My apologies again.

dba. Renewal by Andersen of Long Island Legal name: Long Island Custom Windows *********** ** Everything went well until the actual installation. ******** was very nice. He lives very close to my daughter's home in ******. Second up was the man to make the measurements, also very pleasant. Big day arrived on 9/29 2022. My son and I built the extension to this house and installed the first bay window. That bay failed after just 18 years due to a mistake made by the manufacturer when the bay was constructed. I will only say it was equivalent of using inferior rivets on the Titanic. The Titanic sank! The ******** Craftsmen bay leaked because the seam covering the base was installed upside down and water seeped in. The other two installed at the same time by the same manufacturer are just fine. All three were less than $*****. My son and I watched the Andersen crew for a while, at least long enough to feel we did not have to observe them constantly. Just so happened a handrail my wife wanted came just the day before. We decided to install the iron and steel handrail. I did go upstairs and look over the work before the actual skeleton of the window, than was just the Fiberex frame was set in place. All looked to be just fine. Before the Andersen crew showed up, I had the same architectural roofing shingles on hand for them to use on the roof of the bay. I forgot to pick up the drip edge, which is a type of metal flashing applied to the edge of the roof sheathing. Its purpose is to protect the roof sheathing from water. Unprotected sheathing will eventually absorb water and rot the exposed sheathing. After the drip edge is installed, a waterproof roofing membrane should be installed covering the edge of the drip edge right up the house sheathing. The installer told me they had this membrane. Unfortunately, I have another ***** charters to go but I am forced to stop here. The rest will be presented in court. Sorry

I am giving 2 stars, only because the installation team was wonderful. They did a great job installing and cleaning up. They really deserve zero stars after the experience I have had with them. My order came to my house incorrectly more than 5 times. The back office is horrible, customer service is non existent and I am still waiting for someone in management to call me to simply discuss my experience. They do not care that your job gets done correctly. My job of replacing windows took over a year and a half to complete due to all the errors made. A real mess.

The agent pressured us into spending more than we wanted to. He promised us discounts which we never received. We are two retired seniors and he took advantage of us. I felt like I was at a time share workshop. he didn't give us time to think it over. I have asked for a detailed invoice showing how much each window cost and the price of installation which I never received. We shouldn't be charged ***** for four small windows. I hope this doesn't happen to anybody else!!!!
