      This business stopped service in my area as of October 2022. They instructed us to have our garbage can put on the curb and they would be picking them up oct 31 2022.

      As of mid-end of November, garbage was still sitting at the end of mine and my neighbors driveways. I made a phone call asking when they were picking them up, it’s been almost a month. They informed me that they were doing a mass pick up and there would be some delays. My reply was that they can just discontinue service and never come pick it up, and that it has already been about a month overdue. They were picked up with in days.
      I then continued to receive bills for the garbage services that they were no longer providing. November I called and asked why they are still charging me. The response was that it was a mistake and they will take care of it. December I got another bill, and not the same one, now it was for 2 months worth.
      More phone calls made, company claimed to take care of it.
      Fast forward to sept of 2023, and I am receiving collection calls from a third party collection service about money owed to ACE Carting.
      Another phone call to Ace. I was told the collections was a mistake, but I DO owe them $35 for a month of service last year. Money that I did not owe then with the multiple phone calls in November and December. (TWO MONTHS after they stopped servicing my area.
      I did not owe them money then. I was told the overcharges were taken care of, “account was closed.” The bills stopped, so I assumed the account was closed (again, bc THEY chose to stop servicing my area)
      The collections amount was somewhere around $150, which means they continued to charge my closed account for 4 more months.

      I did receive another phone call from their finance dept or their collections dept.. ARM solutions, Telling me that they have corrected it. They paid it on my behalf so the “collections is paid.” I won’t be receiving email proof until Monday. I want to guarantee this is NOT on MY credit.

      About 1 week from the end of October we received a letter from ace carting saying they would no longer be picking up our garbage as of Oct 30. We had already paid for the month and of course assumed they would get the last week pick up. They never came back, they don't return calls or emails. All of our friends and family that used them are getting the same treatment. Garbage cans are full and left beside the road since October! They are getting knocked over and invaded by bears.

      Failed to pick up garbage on scheduled Wednesdays for the last 5 weeks. Was able to schedule one special pickup after 3 calls. Was told on Friday 11/25/22 that the account had been refunded for November and that the pickup of 2+ weeks of trash would be expedited. 12/1/22, no refund nor pick up of trash and bins. Called, advised that bins will be picked up on 12/8 and that refunds take 6 to 8 weeks. Company has missed several weekly pick ups before this. Missed pick ups have no financial remedy; instead, advised to leave extra refuse next to bins at no charge - predictably, none of it was picked up. Phone rep previously said that they were short-handed in our area. That could have been communicated. We have left messages for callbacks on the past, never received a single one. This company has issues - no doubt, with many in this area - and should be looked into. Thank you for your time.

      I have had ace carting for many years and the month of October 2022 they completely stop picking up my trash called many many many times was told that’s someone would be picking up trash never happened two weeks and not a sole to pick up trash, I had called one last time regarding this matter and the women who answer Amanda she was very rude and said I can’t speak with a supervisor so I said I will be going to the local office in fort Ann “good luck you probably won’t be able to speak with anyone”financial spoke to a supervisor and finally someone came to pick up my trash bc I threatened to contact BBB. Canceled services was told that supervisor gave me a credit for the month of January mind you I paid $106.89 for the month of October November and December. At $35.63 their for the month of January would be credited $35.63. So my refund should have been $142.52 I would be receiving that in check form bc they don’t keep credit card on file, ok called last week to follow up on check and I was told that it was mailed and would be receiving it sometime this week. Called today on 11/9/22 the women I spoke with told me that I would only be getting $106.89 because they can’t refund me for a month that was future, I explained that I was credited for January she said it was only December lie! They refused to give me the credit and used the three months I already paid for back in October as a refund! I was my full refund of $142.52.

      Weekly trash pick up never occurred July 1,8,15 2022, attempted multiple phone calls to ###-###-####. Put on hold extended times only to get a recording, left messages to call and never returned call. Cancelled lack of service on there websight acecarting.com on 7-23-2022 and requested confirmation. Never received confirmation, but did get a bill on 9-1-2022, which I have no intentions of paying. I have contracted with **** ******* 7-23-2022, they emptied Ace Carting cans which are still on my property and request that Ace Carting pick them up and send me a zero due bill.

      I contacted Ace Carting about no pickup on 8/26/2022. I am payed through the full month of August 2022. I had no pickup on the following days, 8/17/2022 and 8/24/2022. They should still be picking up today 8/31/2022 as I have payed them. I canceled my service on 8/26/2022 due to a rude customer service call regarding this issue. The cans were full last week due to this issue. When you call the number ###-###-####, it is totally blank, doesn’t ring at all. Received no response from them as yet and no bill for continued service. Expect the cans and garbage in them to be removed promptly. If any wild animals get into it I will hold them responsible. I have all my records for the entire year if needed.

      I am writing is response to Ms. ********* complaint ID 17803704. Ms. ********* cancelledher account on 8/26/22 due to the lack of pick up. At that time, we were having somepersonnel issues which in-turn caused a lack of pick up. We sincerely apologize for that. We willbe issuing a credit on her account for the entire month of August.       We’ve been customers for on call garbage collection for years. When we need a pick up- I call, put out the garbage can and recycle can at the road and they pick up. They service several customers on my rural road and go by my house every Friday whether I need service or not.

      April pick up price was $10.66 (total w taxes $12.32) with a notice on the invoice that prices MAY be going up. No problem.. gas, higher wages, no workers.. we get it.

      May pick up the price was $15.66 (total $18.10).
      June the same $15.66 (total $18.10)
      July price is $30.00 (total $ 34.67) NO NOTIFiCATION of any kind. Invoice, email, phone call.. nothing.

      That is just price gouging!! That’s a 300% price increase since the May 1st invoice, and a 100% price increase since last month.

      I called this morning ###-###-#### and spoke to Jay. She insisted that advance notice is given on the invoices. The only advance notice given was on the Due May 1 st bill. None was given for this increase from 15.66 to 30.00.

      We are seniors and just cannot afford this kind of unknown, unplanned increases. I should have been notified when I called for a pick up. I still have to pay the $34.67 invoice to pick up one can of garbage and one can of recycle.
