    The owners of this business I are beyond rude, they are unprofessional and accuse their customers of fraud. Their employees did not pick up our trash that was clearly labeled two weeks in a row. They drove right past it today and did not stop. Upon calling the company immediately after their guys drove past, their response was to call me a liar and that I probably put the tags on after their guys left. They accused me of putting a fake tag on the trash. Things a bold faced lie. I buy tags at our local mart and have no time or reason to defraud anyone. This company should not be allowed to treat people this way. I am switching companies today, despite having an account for three years, they do not deserve my business.

    They will find any reason not to take trash -a few lbs over the 25lb limit, bin placed two feet from the curb instead of directly onto it. The biggest issue is that they will not refund the difference of your payment when you try to cancel the service because of the inconsistency and pettiness. Very poor customer service.

    Your trash was left on Monday because it was overweight, per the Tompkins County Tag system. You have been notified in the past of this issue. The trash guidelines have been emailed to you, they are posted on our website and Facebook page. I am not sure what your feel is inconsistency or petty? We can not and will not remove trash that is not properly tagged, it is a law and the tags cover YOUR weight of your trash (disposal fees) of your trash at the county. If not properly tagged with enough tags then you are not covering your cost of your disposal fees. As far as the tag system go's we can not remove trash that is not properly tagged, that is a Tompkins County Law that we as a license hauler must follow. We are at risk of losing our haulers license if we "cut customers some slack" and that is something we will not do. We as a hauler and you as a Tompkins County Resident must follow the trash tag laws. Your container was over weight, with not enough tags to cover the weight there.. According to your own weighing of your trash you state "I weighed the trash after it was refused. It was 35 lbs, so would have required two tags instead of one" I let you know per our guidelines, you will need to split up the trash into 2 dump-able 30-45 gallon trash containers and place enough tags to cover the weight of each bag in the containers. I also emailed you the Tompkins County trash laws that we must follow and a link to our FAQ on our website. Your request cancel services was received and your account has been closed. If a refund is due to you it will be mailed out to your address on file.

    Along with the others their customer service skills suck. I get one person calling and screaming that I owe money and then another calling like five minutes later saying the same thing but not screaming just being blunt. I have had several problems with them just leaving my trash. Then I have to pay someone else to pick it up. I had one call screaming at my daughter and saying she is me and when am I going to pay them. I was at work when she called. Last I knew this was harassment. I will not send anyone there.

    In looking over the history of your account, this account has only received 1 payment in 2022 with a past due amount being carried over from 2021 also. This account has been placed on shut off for non payment a few times, the reason your trash is not removed is due to non payment. On July 14th we did removed extra trash for you and a extra fee was added to your billing, that invoice is also still outstanding. At this time this account is on shut off for non payment with a past due balance not paid.

    I tried to work with this company. I paid for the first quarter and a sheet of tags. My trash did not get collected. The office staff was very rude and unpleasant to talk with on the phone. Everything was combative. Doug himself took the final call to yell at me. I would not recommend anyone work with this company. They are to refund my payment but I question their honesty and whether they will follow through. I highly recommend using anyone else.

    You signed up to start service July 1, at that time you verbally given the trash removal guidelines and rules. An email was also sent with the service flyer of our guidelines with our holiday schedule. It was stated in writing and verbally that trash must be curbside by 7:00AM. We spoke on the phone after your trash not picked up July 1, you stated you had not had it our by 7:00AM. I told you that you had missed our truck and again that it had to be curbside by 7:00AM. The following week, July 4 week (holiday week) our crew was a day late for pickup due to the holiday Monday July 4th. Friday routes would be done on Saturday. You did NOT place your trash curbside on Saturday. We spoke by phone, you were upset that the trash was not removed Friday, I told you again we were a day late due to the holiday that route was done on Saturday. I noted to you holiday schedules were emailed, are posted in the shopper and are on our website. You were not happy with with our responses or that you had to wait till next Friday for removal. Therefore you requested account be canceled and a refund sent. The account was closed, 7/11/2022 and a full refund mailed to you on 7/11/2022.

    That I did have the bags to the road side by 7:30 AM each day. The escalation and combative communication was from their end of the call. I was leaving it as lets see how this week goes and to determine if this would work moving forward. Doug then made the decision to terminate the arrangement. I would like the cost of the tags covered as well but will take that as lesson learned and hope to never interact with these people again. Their memory of this interaction is very different from mine. I was not upset about any of this conversation until it went way off the rails when Doug made the decree to cancel my account and then started to yell. Christine started the phone call immediately adversarial and was rude from the moment that I picked up the phone. I had stated several times that I needed/wanted to end the conversation since I knew that it was a dead end, but she kept going and going. Talking with Doug was the deal ender. Buyer Beware: Some people might be ok with this style of customer service but I hope to never interact with them again. Look at the other reviews online and many state the same issue interfacing with them.
