      Hired them to remodel the inside of my house and add a porch to the front.
      After after 7 months the inside was finally done. Had to have a lot of things redone. Painting, trim painting, leveling of cabinets, etc.
      When the work on the porch started, I was told that he underestimated by 3500 dollars. I gave James the money. The porch was started in the fall. When they shut down for the winter, the eaves were left open. I made too many phone calls to count to get rid of the squirrels and raccoons in my attic, and to temporarily close the eaves. James refused to close the eaves and it cost me 500 dollars for the extermination.
      Construction restarted in June, 2 months later than what I was told. James brought his step father to the job, they proceeded to get into a fist fight in my front yard, and my new vehicle was scratched. Yes they paid to fix it, but it shouldn't have happened at all.
      After the porch was done and I paid, I noticed the gutters weren't hung under the drip edge and the water was pouring over them and not into them. I called someone else to fix them and that's when we discovered how badly the roof was shingled and built. Parts of it had already blown off, the porch roof wasn't level with the house roof, a whole ridge of shingles weren't even nailed down on one side.when I asked James to fix this, I was told when the roof leaks he will fix it. He wasn't going to take the word of some random contractor. I had a roofer out here that day, when he got off the roof, he just kept shaking his head. Told me the roof would be leaking by October. There was already moisture under the ones that weren't properly laid. There were spots that didn't even get shingled, or they already blew off. All I know is it's going to cost me a good chunk of money to fix this. All I wanted was for James to fix this, and he had to get nasty with me. So unfortunately this is the route I had to take. I ended up telling him to never contact me again.
