      Be wary of their payroll software. It's always been a bit confusing to handle various state tax payments and filings in their portal, but after eight years I had the hang of it. Due to many coding changes, the taxes are just AWFUL, with amounts being debited that can't be explained, payments not going out, filings that are supposed to be electronic still being manual. Their website boasts a tax accuracy guarantee, but they couldn't be further from it. Stay away if you can help it.

      Very expensive and not user friendly in figuring out how to use their payroll software, Payroll Relief. We used it for two years and was marginally satisfied. However, after they charged us the yearly fee, and for over $2000 for checks to use for our payroll clients for ****, within a week they changed their terms, and now REQUIRE all of our clients to pre-fund their taxes and let Payroll Relief take the taxes out at the time of the payroll, and hold them for months sometimes, until they're due. We left ADP years ago because our clients do not want to pre-fund taxes and let someone else hold them and make money on their money. I've complained to their customer service, and asked 1. for an exception for clients who do NOT want this option, and 2. if they refuse to allow exceptions, to refund our unused checks and most of our yearly fee, but they haven't even responded. It is bad business practice to make such a huge change right after the annual renewal, when the accounting offices have already paid, and give them no other option. If I were to continue with their software, I'd lose all of my clients! We will be leaving their company as soon as we get an alternative option set up!! DON'T USE THESE SCAMMERS.
