      **********, **: I had an appointment today and it was just fine. The staff was welcoming and efficient. The doctor was thorough and helpful. The facility was clean and well maintained.BBB Should be listing these reviews with their location up front. If there are any good SightMD offices out there there are being painted with the same dirty brush as the bad ones until you have read all of the reviews and how many people do that?

      I have been going to SightMD for a long time. But lately the organization/management is very disorganized and makes mistakes. The doctors that I go to seem to be very competent but mistakes are made by management all the time. Last month I had an appointment with my cornea specialist. When I showed up, they told me that it was at another location. This past week I had an appointment with my macula specialist for a possible injection for my age related MD. There were 3 patients waiting outside the office which was closed. I called and was able to speak to a person who told me that the doctor called in sick and that I had been called. None of the patients waiting had received a call. I'm afraid that a serious mistake will be made eventually.

      UNORGANIZED, UNATTENTIVE, UNSANITARY. I had an appointment scheduled for 3:25pm with ****************** for a chalazion removal. Being led from one waiting room to another I did not see the doctor until 5pm at which point he spoke to the nurse for 2 minutes and walked out of the room. The nurse smeared lidocane on my eyelid and told me to go back to the waiting room. Another 20 minutes later I am in the "operating" room waiting another 15 minutes for the doctor to show. Finally the procedure. ****************** had no bedside manner. The few times I tried to speak he talked right over me addressing the nurse. 5 minutes and all was done and with the words " You'll be fine in a day" the doc walked out. There was no post operative care given or questions answered. The nurse told me the medicine was sent to the pharmacy and instructions will be on the bottles. That is it. I was not told what to expect after or how to care for the wound. To top it all off right after the procedure the nurse failed to take her gloves off which were very visibly covered in my blood. She handled my chart, the pen and ALL of the equipment she was putting back on the shelves to use on other patients with those gloves on. I would never recommend SightMD or ****************** nor will I ever consider coming back.

      Had cataract surgery 14mnts still having problems seeing sent me to4 doctors last one said I had floters had surgery still having eyeproblems sent me to a nerooptomalagist he said wrong lens used or lens is curved lights are to bright have headaches daily

      You always talk to the answering service and never to the intended person. They only people they let you get in touch with is the scheduler so they can make money and the billing department so they can collect money. I have left several messages and have an email sent from a company and no one has responded to me. Nobody has excepted accountability. On the fact that in the middle of my eye surgery I woke up. Now I have PTSD and nobody has even apologized.
