I went in November 2024 to trade in my ***** and start a new lease with Kia. Sales rep was fine and we agreed on an amount and down payment but when it was time to process at finance dept, the manager (*****) tried to adde ridiculous fees that totaled an additional 4k on the down payment! Fees included $1400 destination fee and another freight fee - the car was already on the lot there was no transport needed. We got it sorted out but then there was an issue of payment when they took over my old lease. Instead of paying the leasing company they paid another dealer so lease was still under my name. I called daily to speak to the manager ****** who never ever returned my calls. I ended up finding out the payment details of my old lease from the ***** dealership itself. Kia paid them late and didn't pay the full amount so ***** couldn't process my lease payment so now I have this on my credit report as a derogatory mark. Manager has made no attempt to rectify- absolutely horrible service!!! They also processed the registration renewal for my old car so when the registration came in the mail it had my old car model and vin #. I called and again no one could help so I had to drive all the way back to Huntington from ****** to get answers. Would not recommend going here. Service is horrendous and finance team is predatory and will take advantage if you don't know better.

I was interested in a 2022 **** Explorer ST and placed a deposit with this dealership on April 1st, 2025 only to be hit with $5,600 in hidden fees not listed anywhere in the online listing. When I asked for a revised loan breakdown without the bogus charges, I was ignored for 3 daysthen told the vehicle had a bad transmission and they couldnt sell it to me.That was a lie. The same exact vehicle is still listed for sale two weeks later with new pictures uploaded. Its clear they never intended to honor the original deal. Just classic bait-and-switch ********** make matters worse, theyve still not returned my deposit over 2 weeks later. Finance manager ***** and salesperson ********* were involved. Shady and dishonest.

I recently went to this Kia of Huntington for a recall service. I asked the Service Advisor (*******************************) to please see why my car wasn't starting sometimes. I believe that it was in the steering column due to the fact that if I jiggled the key it would start. He said that it would be $189 diagnostic and if I have them do the repair the diagnostic fee would be waved. He called 3-1/2 hours later and said that it was the starter. It would take 2-1/2 hours to replace and that his mechanic found a major oil leak. I said that there were no signs of any oil leak under my car. He said that it was dripping on the oil pan and burning off. And another diagnostic fee of $189 to find the cause. He would call me back. His mechanic was on lunch. I called him back 30 min later to ask if his mechanic found the cause. And to ask why there would be another diagnostic fee? That the car had 112 miles, and I may want to trade it in. He said that he would call me back. 30 minutes later he called me back and said that the valve cover gasket was severely worn, and that it would take 2-1/2 hours to repair. 5 hours total. He then said that it would be around $1200 + tax. I said that if the total was kept under $1000 all, that I would agree to the work being done. He said that he could do that. But called in 3-1/2 to pick up car! Needless to say my car is still not starting sometimes. I jiggle the key and it starts. I call the service center and was told that he no longer works there and if another part needs to be replaced that I would be responsible to pay for it. The receipt has a charge of coincidentally $378 (2x the diagnostic fee) LABOR for the replacement of the starter alone! And the replacement of the gasket was due to customer concern!! Not a major oil leak. And when I tried to use Zelle, my bank refused payment because it was to the owners email address not the business address that was on the ** code. I had to pay the 3.75% fee!DO NOT BUY A *** OR USE THIS SERVICE CENTER!

BEWARE- I went into the dealership, shared with my sales person that this would be a hard purchase for me as I was trading in my husband's car due to financial necessity because I was recently widowed and could not afford the car payments nor gas. A ******************* was suggested.Pricing was unclear and deceitful. After taking my trade in off insurance they AGAIN changed my rate and Ridiculous who does this?! So I bought a car, over my price range, thinking that the battery could help offset gas. I was told clear as day- I just have to "plug it in." NOT TRUE!!! My car could not hold a charge so I took it into the shop. They assured me that the battery was functional. It was! It fully charged there. I couldn't understand why after 12 hours of charging at my house and frequent tripping of the charging process that it did not charge more that 44%. It was then that I started asking other questions: Why can't I charge it if it is fine here?. It was then that I learned that the charger that comes with the car- doesn't charge the battery. Not only that! You need to hire an elecrtrician to create a special designated outlet with 220W and purchase an alternative battery charger. You also cannot use an extension cord. After getting quotes- I have learned that it would cost me over $3500 to do this so the battery can work.I met with the rudest sales manager. AGAIN I told him that- I am a widow and I was trying to save money. His solution was to plug it into my washer and dryer outlet or just do the construction- but you can't use an extension cord. He "I tried to explain that I was angry because I was not givien accurrate information and I made this purchase based on misinformation and they should rectify this or take the care back. I lost my choice to make a decision of whether or not I could AFFORD THIS WORK, He said again at this point then you just need to upgrade your electric- and around the circular conversation we went. Criminal!
