Purchased your tickets for 2 days. The bus never showed at any locations: I called and kept being told there was traffic meanwhile other bus tour companies were getting through just fine. Many negative reviews of them being a scam company. I called again and was told they are coming: it was hours. The receipt says 2 days but the dates on the ticket show one day. When I spoke with the man he said dont worry about it. Of course considering they never showed up. Pictures show cost for 2 day ticket and that only valid one day. Also some of the negative reviewsCustomer Answer

Purchased this NY Iconic city bus tour on 4/8/2025. There was no one picking up their customer service line ******************************* once in the morning and 2x in the afternoon. No one to ask for a refund, Groupon directed to reach out to the company . There were no buses that came while we waited on *************** near the wholefoods. We waited for more the. 1hr and 30mins in the cold from 2:30 and had to make the decision to take the NY subway by 4pm because of the freezing wind waiting on the bus to come. We did not even do 1/2 of the tour. Not even an audio on the bus with guide on what site we passed by.Customer Answer

October 15th, 2024. We had went to *** for a trip and during that time, we decided to take a boat tour to see the statue of Liberty. When we had went to the location on the map, we spoke with a guy who was selling the tickets on part of *** iconic tours. We were offered two different prices, one was for just the boat tour and the other price included a bus tour. We had declined the bus tour multiple times. Upon agreeing to two tickets for just the boat tour, he asked for the card where he inserted it and then gave us the machine to put our pin. We had no idea what the price was except that we originally agreed to the boat tour which was the lessor amount than what we had paid. After trying to dispute these charges through email with the company, it seems to be a scam that they were doing. We spoke with others that evening on the boat tour, and they were also sold the tickets with the bus tour, however, they were able to take advantage of the bus tour whereas, my mother and I were on our last day visit before driving back to **, ****** the next morning. Originally we were told it would be *****usd each but we're charged *****usd each. I had emailed them a few times to get a response as to why, and as to why we were not able to see the price on the terminal before giving our card, even when requested, he pretended to not understand.Customer Answer

We booked through *******, we were instructed to get our tickets at 47th and 7th in front of ************. We arrived there and found nothing, we searched for 2 hours. Never seen a bus or worker for this company. We called *******, they said they would contact that company. Meanwhile we purchased tickets from the other tour bus company there top view they told us they had never heard of iconic or seen their bus. We were only in the city for 48 hours so time was more than money at that point. While standing in line at 47th and 7th waiting for the top view bus to arrive. A guy in orange came up from the subway carrying a banner that said iconic. He set up the banner in front of our line took 2 pictures called someone said did you get the pictures. They mustve said yes because he took his banner and went back down the subway stairs. Moments later he reappears and talks to the top view employees that JUST told us they never heard of iconic. It appears to be a scam: you purchase these tickets on Groupon, they give you the address to top view. Top view acts like they care you lost money, gives you a discount and now they got paid twice for your trip. Iconic does not exist. Its a scam by top view. ******* isnt refunding because it wasnt 24 hours prior. You have no way of knowing its a scam until you are there that day wasting hours searching for something that does not exist. I asked ******* to take down the company so others arent effected and I read reviews daily, the same stuff is STILL happening.Initial Complaint

Missleading selling practices!I have purchased 4 tickets for the liberty ferry tour under misleading selling practices. We already bought 4 tickets from another company for this tour. The seller **** from "Iconic Tours" has talked to us and said that the ferry we have booked perviously is already fully booked and once we missed it we will be refunded.Which was a falls claim, he also said that he works for city pass which is also not true. Once he sold us new tickets he said the bus will pick us up in 5 min to drive us to the boat which was also not true. We waited over one hour in the heat (86 degree Fahrenheit) and 2 of us were elderly people over 70 years old. The stuff was not helpful at all and kept lying that the bus will be here in 5-10 minutes every time we have asked them. We went back to **** and asked him for a refund and he said he has called the manager to do the refund. The manager never showed up.I felt I was being treated badly almost felt like you have been kippnaped for randsome because we have already purchased the tickets and didnt believe we will get the refund and will lose on the money and the experience so we had decided to wait. We didn't feel safe at all and the stuff was very aggressive towards us. Once the Bus arrived a fight broke out between the stuff members and they have said if we dont go on the Bus we will lose out on the ticket and the money wont be refunded.Initial Complaint

On May 12, 2024 my family of 6 went on a cruise to see the Statue of Liberty for the 1:00pm tour. Upon leaving that cruise 3 family members decided to go on the double decker city tours of *************. A young man approached us about taking a city tour. After purchasing the city tour ,We got on the double ****** bus. As we waited no one else showed up on the bus. We asked the young lady who scanned our ticket was this a city tour bus she said no this is a bus that takes you to the Statue of Liberty tour. We asked her for a refund and she said she could not give us a refund we would have to take it up with our credit card company. We looked for the young man that sold us the tour but he was no where to be found. . I have contacted my credit card for the 4th time and they are indicating that Iconic Tours says they do not give refunds. Iconic Tours Representative mis represented this tour and now I am asking for a full refund of $157..97.Customer Answer

On April 16, I traveled on the subway to ************ with my son to visit the ***************** and ******************The merchant (who I now know is New York Iconic Cruises) had agents stopping people coming off the subway and asking if they were going to the Statue of Liberty or ******************The agent claimed that the official ticket window was closed for renovations and that boat tickets had to be purchased from the agents standing outside the subway. This was not true. They claimed that you could not exit the boat to visit the statue or ***************** because the museum on the island closed at 2:00pm the actual closing time is 4:30pm.This was clearly to create a sense of urgency and inevitability. They offered a discounted price of $39 per ticket. They took my card from me and ran the transaction without a confirmation step. They handed me a receipt and started walking me and my son to the boat.I never received a ticket.I was never shown a terms of service.I checked the receipt and it showed the charged price was $49 per ticket.I immediately walked back to the agent to request a refund. He refused. The no refund policy on the receipt was the first indication I ever received that this transaction was non refundable. If I had been asked to confirm the transaction when they ran the card I would have seen the wrong price and not consented. When refused a refund, I immediately called the customer service number on the back of the card.I was told that the transaction had not posted yet and nothing could be done until later.I then walked through the park and found the actual ticket window. It was not under construction. I purchased the real Statue of Liberty and ***************** tickets for $25 per ticket and was able to visit the Statue grounds and the *************************I do not understand how this company is still allowed to process credit card transactions. They are committing fraud using the **** network and should be stopped.Customer Answer
