Bought a couch in 2018 and had to have them come out and repair it on 2 occasions and I called to have the same problem fixed and they said my warranty has expired. They obviously didn't fix the problem either time they were there and now they want to charge me for the repair.Business Response

As a loyal customer, I have purchased a significant portion of my living and bedroom furniture from R&F over the past several years, including the Platinum Coverage plan for added peace of mind. However, I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience with the service department.
In November 2024, I filed a service claim for a broken footrest on my dining set bench. I was initially informed that the repair would be completed within a few days. However, subsequent inquiries revealed delays in part delivery and a lack of communication. Despite multiple attempts to contact the local store (Elizabeth, NJ) and central customer service, I have received no updates and my calls remain unanswered.
Furthermore, I recently discovered that my original service claim appears to be missing from their system entirely.
I am deeply concerned about the lack of service and communication I have experienced. If R&F is unable to honor the Platinum Coverage and provide timely and effective service, I request a refund for the premiums paid for this coverageBusiness Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. Yes, i called the store on 1/15/2025 and was told that the new ETA is 2/5/2025, although not definitive. This is the 3rd such ETA since December. For one, i asked what if the ETA moves further out again and was told that it could happen and its not a definitive ETA. Alternatively, i asked to replace the whole bench and was told i will lose the platinium coverage if i do so. What if )2/05 comes and goes, what is the co. willing to do to honor the coverage

I purchased a chair from Raymour and Flanagan. I was told I would receive a complimentary reward gift card of 25.00 dollars in a few days after my purchase. In which I have not! I contacted the company advising them I haven’t received the card. They keep telling me it was mailed. It’s been over three months now. I keep getting lies from the company. Please help me. We purchased a protected plan for a furniture set from Raymour and Flanigan in Yonkers. They granted us a re select on furniture but never honored it . We never got to do the reselect . We were restricted on times and days of the reselect . We were never told we go online or go to the outlet . All we want is the oversized chair replaced . The chair is for a special needs young adult who loves the oversized chair . We have been in contact with customer service who tells they are going to send the request to management but never gets back to us . We would like Raymour and Flanigan to honor the protection plan .Business Response

Purchased furniture on 12/1/2024 for the amount of $3159.27.
Arranged for delivery on 1/8/25. Furniture arrived at 1:30pm, set up recliner and couch with battery packs. About 15 minutes after delivery people left, I noticed that the right side of the couch recliners were not working. I called delivery people and was told we can talk you through setup which was not possible, and then said they will try to return to troubleshoot. They did not return and said they can't return today because they are too far out of area now.
I called the original showroom in Brooklyn where furniture was purchased and spoke to Andrew. Explained that the couch is either not setup correctly or malfunctioning and that I need a new couch sent. He setup delivery for 1/13/25, stating this seems like a factory error and replacement will be sent. I called back on 1/10/25 to confirm delivery since I didn't recieve any type of confirmation. Was told that the delivery is listed for 1/13/25 with new couch and pick up of non working couch. Delivery never happened on 1/13/25. I took day from office for delivery. Called several times, on hold for 30 mins at time. Spoke to Asia who said a team will come on evening of 1/13 to troubleshoot couch. Team did not arrive, was told their truck broke down. Spoke to customer manager Priya at Marine Park showroom and was told my only option is another appointment, I requested specific appointment for 1/15 9am, was told they can't give specific appointment time. Asked to speak with Priya's manager and was refused, told she is the only person I can speak to. I requested refund of $224 for the delivery fee, they said they will apply it when invoice comes out. However the couch is still not fixed, I can't speak to anyone that is above a customer service manager.Business Response

Purchased furniture on 7-9-24 in the amount of $6,253.39. Delivered on 7-13-24. Next day 7-14-24 went back to store as we weren't satisfied with furniture. Spoke to Manager Ira and he agreed to return furniture in the amount of $6,253.39 with a additional 25% amount of $1,747.04 restock fee. He then said we needed to select furniture to equal to the credit amount of $6,253.39. We selected new furniture with a new purchase amount of $6,253.17. New furniture delivered on 7-17-24 and they took back the original order we were returning. On 10-21-24 statement the bill was correct showing restock fee of $1,747.04 (25%) and the amount of purchased furniture $6,253.17. along with a $40 late charge now new total $8,040.21. Received November statement showing a new initial purchase date for furniture on 10-2-24 with outstanding balance of $6253.39 now showing we owe $12,293.60 and keep in mind our credit limit stated on each statement shows $9,000.00 credit limit through ** **** with Raymour & Flanigan. I then placed dispute on 11-7-24 for 10-2-24 purchased amount in the amount of $6253.39. On 12-7-24 received a response on dispute with ** ****/Raymour & Flanigan saying insufficient evidence to substantiate my claim. ** **** disputed the wrong dollar amount. Every month calling both places since July I have constantly received the run around from Raymour & Flanigan and ** ****. Both blaming each other. But not taking ownership of this mess. We are being charged $174.00 a month per each transaction. We should only be charged for transaction with one monthly amount of $174.00 This is causing us to receive late fees on transactions that are not ours and affecting financially and our credit. I have document stating that the dispute center with ** **** sent us a document showing the credit and new correct purchase. But we are still being charged wrongfully and no help whatsoever. On 1-9-25 Raymour & Flanigan told me to stop calling regarding this matter.

Defective king size mattress
It's a disgrace! We have had a representative come out and deny our

I purchased a sectional sofa in 2023 from them with the platinum protection plan which includes spills, mud, etc. Now I have a couch with two pieces that are broken and can’t be used still under the 5 year plan. They are refusing to honor the platinum protection plan snd said I need to get the couch cleaned before I can get it serviced which they are supposed to cover too. I paid for the protection plan and now they won’t honor it.Business Response

I bought some furniture 5 years ago and also their protection plan. I submitted a service claim about my sofa and some dining chairs in November 2024 and they first already booked an appointment with me then cancelled and asked for more photos of the sofa and chairs. I sent these photos and they called me said they did not receive the photos and asked me to send these photos again in PDF files. I did that.
After that, nothing heard from the company.
I contacted the customer service on 01/06/2025 and they said "The service office did confirm the photos were received for the overall chairs however the platinum protection plan has since expired and as we did not hear back since the end of November there is nothing we would be able to offer for the chairs or sectional at this time"
I cannot accept that answer since no one called me or wrote to me about they never received my photos. I attached the emails I sent about these photos as evidence that I did sent the photo. At least they should contact me about the status of the claim not just close the case and let my plan expire.Business Response
